Hello everyone,I wanted to share a quick guide on how to set up a wallet and use the active faucet for Hoosat Network (HTN), a project built on the Kaspa (KAS) architecture using the GhostDAG protocol and BlockDAG technology.
Whether you want to test the network speed (currently ~5.3 Blocks/s) or just want to hold some coins, you can follow the steps below.
Step 1: Create a WalletFirst, you need an address to receive your HTN coins. The project supports Web, Desktop, Android, iOS, and Ledger.
Select Wallet: Go to
https://network.hoosat.fi/Click on the "Wallet" tab and choose the option that suits you best.
Once created, copy your address starting with hoosat:
After getting your wallet address, you can claim free HTN from the link below.
Step 2: Go to faucet
https://faucet.hoosat.fi/Action: Paste your wallet address into the "Address" field, enter 200 in the "Amount" field, and submit.
Limit: You can claim a maximum of
200 HTN per IP address every 24 hours.
Status: The faucet currently holds ~1.2 Million HTN, so distribution is active.
⚠️ Important WarningsIP Error: If you see the "You currently have 0 HTN remaining" error, it means you have hit the 24-hour IP limit.
Network Stats (Snapshot):
Block Speed: ~5.3 BPS
DAG Blue Score: ~104M
Faucet Balance: +1.2M HTN
Good luck!
