Here's what I have learned, 😔people who start saying you changed the moment you stop tolerating their behavior, they don't miss who you were, they miss what you allowed. Boundaries feel like betrayal to people who benefited from your silence. Your growth exposes their stagnation, and instead of rising with you, they resent you because someone who loves you will never say you changed, they'll say you've grown

At some point you have to acknowledge that you have to cut ties with some people for your own mental sanity's sake. Could be people you've known for years, or people you love, and so on. Because if that respect is not reciprocated then eventually you're going to get stressed out and that's really destructive for your body health.

It can be as simple as not talking to them anymore or seeing them. But the truth is that many of us eventually have to confront this feeling at some point in our lives.
