A large number of new traders think so. They think that if they have the capital available, it is possible to make a profit through trading very easily. They get inspired by successful traders and make the mistake that they should not. Some new traders buy currencies with their entire funds and most of the time sell them at a loss without understanding the market temperature.
This is the main reason why luck doesn't work like the way we can expect it when it relate to gambling. Having enough fund to trade is a different from having the right tools and the experience to trade in the market and make money for yourself.
Trading is most difficult for traders that don't understand the market and how to position their trades with adequate risk management in place for them to be making money from the market with the information they have acquired.
Lack of any tool for trading is not a good environment for traders to make profits. Often many money owners lose a lot of money just because of lack of experience. Experience is a tool through which even if one does not have a lot of funds he can make a profit by making the right plan.
Being lucky in gambling is one of the prerequisites for winning. A gambler has to be lucky compared to skill if he wants to win enough. With trading skill and experience are one of the conditions for profit. Interestingly in trading/gambling you should be strict about risk management otherwise you may get lost in a series of losses.
I wont bet my money on luck, its like your one foot is in the grave, only one small mistake like putting your money in meme coin because you feel like your lucky for the day , is the last recipe for disaster, if you are betting money in luck, i think you should consider doing trading, its not only for luck but experience, most trader put risk management priority, they won't put money in or hard earn into something that is not sure or have a higher chance, they always have a plan.
