Everything someone does in this life will be fun as far as it is giving the results they want from it. So I agree that trading is fun, but the point is that it is only fun when you are making profit from it. If someone is losing, it can never be fun.therefore trading can be enjoyable and, at the same time, not enjoyable. It all depends on the response someone is getting from trading. For example, it has been a while since I made profit from trading, and honestly, I do not see trading as fun right now. It was fun when I was making profit; I was enjoying it then.So the OP can be right and at the same time be wrong. It all depends on the individual. Generally, trading should be fun.

I completely agree with you, that anything can be fun if there is something to gain, and in trading our goal is profit, so it makes us happy when we can get profit from our trading.

I don't think someone who is always losing money when trading will still feel happy, instead they will be frustrated because of too many losses they get. So yes generally we will be happy when we can get profit from trading.

First of all the type of fun you are referring is "sex" which is funny because of how its the first thing that came to your mind
Meanwhile that is not healthy fun, you should be talking about a fun that is consistent and and stays, not one that comes and goes in a moment.


Nevertheless you gave a good advice to we traders and it is very well appreciated, but the ability to stay happy even in time of looses is harder than you think, maybe you can survive and remain happy with a couple of looses, but we all know that there was or there is a point in trading where your losses will be so much, that you wouldn't just be sad you will be totally depressed, confidence gone, motivation gone, emotional stability gone, I don't see how you will have any type of joy in such a situation.

All I can say is anytime you can make yourself happy please do, but in the hard times where joy seems to be so far away from you don't give up just keep going, it will pay off someday.

Why trading is risky?
There are 1000s of factors influence price movement and here TA must be limited in the sense of cannot detect the next turning point of market accurately. So, being always right even you are strong in TA cannot be possible, simply in other words, you need luck along with versatile knowledge in TA. When luck plays a part, risk is justified.

No TA remains accurate all the times.
This explains heavy competition in the market. It means, when more traders uses similar TA, they may try to book profit at same price level which will lead to unexpected volatility. So, TA cannot be same always but you need to enhance and adapt new strategies.

Simply, successful trading involves lots of hard work, so I could not get how it would be fun...

Don't let anyone deceive you with their opinion, trading is risky no matter how they try to paint it for you. There is no accurate way to manage your risk without experiencing lose at a time. With the numerous risk management strategies we have available, I don't think traders will be losing their money anymore if they're effective in the long run. However, you can minimise your loss with risk management but it doesn't guarantee you express trade without loss.

Is there any way to get capital for free? 

If this is possible, no trader wouldn't mind using high leverage to make high profit because of afterall, the capital comes free and losing it will not be painful. This simply means the chances of you hitting the x100 is very low that your post even suggests using free capital to do experiment without minding the probability. It's not bad to trade but it's misleading to say trading is not risky as speculated.

Exactly, people likes it when they are getting some profit from, it always makes them happy and fulfilled in life because losing doesn't make people happy, which might cause them to go into bankrupt.
So, if trading makes people to have less loss and more profits, it will still make them happy, whereby they will not think much about the losses because they know they can still get back their profits after little tries.
Which is why, its always advised to invest or trade with the amount you can afford to lose, so that if things doesn't fall in place with your plans, it will not make you feel unhappy or sad because you already know that is how it will be at times.

If trading is fun that fear of lost wouldn't be there in the trading, because that is the risk some people don't want to enter into trading despite they like trading. What you said makes sense and that's the way it is, when you get a profit then there will definitely be a feeling of pleasure that arises but when you lose then obviously there will never be pleasure, what happens more or less you will just be silent and say “bad luck” .

Responding to profits with pleasure is absolutely no problem, a natural thing of human reaction, but losses should also not be a trigger for emotions, because what? Because from the beginning it is clear that trading is risky, this means that losses are a natural thing.

Yes, that's right. Trading can be enjoyable if you understand it well enough to reap the benefits. However if you don't understand it or even have the wrong mindset I don't think trading will be enjoyable because you'll always experience losses. So the bottom line is that both trading and gambling are enjoyable if they're based on adequate knowledge and a healthy understanding of risk and vice versa.

I dont think trading is meant to be "fun" either.  If its fun for you, then you are obviously not doing it right.  You are basically just gambling with your money then.  If it so happens that its boring for you to trade and it involves a lot of spreadsheets as well as risk management, then perhaps you are doing it right.  The "fun" feeling is just the market tricking you, like a thug luring you to a dark alley just to take money out of your wallet.  Losing only has a lesson if it significantly changes the way you trade in the future; otherwise, its just a hobby and its going to cost you financially.

There is no fun, no happiness if you lost money, and I believe that all people have same emotion when losing money unintentinonally. You can use your money, spend it for anything and get fun, happiness back as you proactively planed that action and that spending. While with trading or gambling, you want to get profit with it, not get loss with it, so if eventually the result you got is loss, you would naturally feel very unhappy.

Trading is basically risky, and trading in the volatile cryptocurrency market is more dangerous with higher risk of getting loss.
So let's defend your trading capital by using stop loss order or stop limit order, it's very important while these orders are very basic and easy to use.

How could trading continue to be fun when you're losing and can't help with the situation than to watch how your money evaporates into the sky for nothing, there are tough times in trading, because we can't always have it the right way and make profits each time we go into it, the risk lies on the losses we made, even though at that, we are expected to often have more of winning than losing on trades, just to make it all about fun to do.
