Hi guys (and girls, if any actually exist here),

As most of you probably know, we're starting the first print magazine for Bitcoin that will be published shortly. In that magazine there are several community driven sections, one of which being the "Letters to the editor" section.

If you've got a question that you want answered inside the very first issue of the magazine by a professional in the appropriate field (politics, economics, technology, cryptography, etc) then you can post your questions in this thread. The best questions will be featured in the magazine and the featured submitter will receive a free copy of the digital version of the magazine.

All questions should be less than 400 words.

Cheers

Matthew N. Wright
Editor in Chief

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

What would it take to get more women into using Bitcoin and would that be a good thing?

(I feel that would may prove to be an interesting topic. Feel free to reword the question to better suit your fine publication, Editor in Chief)

And when is the first issue going to be released so that I can start watching for it to arrive via mail two weeks later?  Grin (couldn't resist)

Excellent question. I'll put that in the "Mineshaft" questions area, as that is specifically a mining-oriented question. I'll PM you regarding your free issue.

Thanks!

A mall that takes only bitcoin

"We are just fools. We insanely believe that we can replace one politician with another and something will really change. The ONLY possible way to achieve change is to change the very system of how government functions. Until we are prepared to do that, suck it up for your future belongs to the madness and corruption of politicians."
