Trading mistake number 1, Overtrading because of being trigger happy.. jeez trading isn't easy if we are going to be honest with ourselves but then again we can't give up because there is surely light at the end of the tunnel..

Mistake number 2, trying to change strategies... I think I have come to a conclusion that all strategies work but they depend on ones patience, risk management and some understanding & concentration on the markets of what's happening.. probably some interest on the happenings of the world as these do affect markets one way or another.

Over-trading is definitely one of the biggest mistakes most people, including myself, make when they are into trading. Whenever we make some profits, we become overconfident and start thinking that we can now conquer the market without any problem, and that's when we start running downhill without even realizing it. We realize that we have made a mistake only when we lose every profit we have made so far, and sometimes even lose a portion of our capital as well, but by the time we realize, it's already too late and we can't return from there.

And, another very big mistake people often make after making the over-trading mistake, and it is to fight against the market to try and recover the money they have lost, just like how people gamble more after losing money so that they can recover their lost funds, but what happens at the end of the day? They lose even more money and get nothing back. Similarly, if you fight against the market to try and recover your losses very quickly, you will only lose more money because you will surely make decisions in haste and that is never a good thing to do.

Well, ALL of us experienced mistakes in our trading journey because like what many are saying, "THERE'S NO PERFECT STRATEGY". At some point, we will always, always encounter mistakes, but like what you said, it's those mistakes that we evolve. It's those mistakes that we make better decisions in the future.

Fortunately for me, I survived last year despite of having some bad decisions, but there are some who already quitted trading after losing thousands of dollars for various reasons. Maybe they don't have money anymore. Maybe they got affected by continuous losing of money negatively hence, they choose to stop. Whatever the reason is, if it's for the betterment of their life then that's what's more important. If trading affects you negatively already, just stop.

As for the altcoin season, I hate to say this, but there might not be an altcoin season that's happening anymore at least in this bull run. I also see an extension of the bull run this year as well, but the question is for how many months. Could we see Q1 of this year still bullish then the remaining months become bearish already? Whatever it is, I hope that we are ready for what could happen.

If I must trade meme coins this year, it must be the already established and successful memecoins with absolutely no chances of rug pulling.

Last year at a point, I got carried away with the hype of degen memecoins on platform like pump.fun for solana, and other platforms for Ton, Bsc base, I was mainly buying newly created meme coins with hope of selling off minutes or latest, an hour later for big profit, unfortunately, things didn't work out as I have imagined, major of the trade ended in a big loss because before I even decide to sell and make profit, the memecoin will be rug pulled leaving me with worthless coins with no liquidity anywhere to sell, I lost a couple of hundreds of dollars in this type of trade and won't make the mistake of trying this again this yaar.

For sure most crypto traders comes into a point that they had considered out on trading meme coins. We cant be able to resist or get jealous into those people who had made out a fortune with meme coins with having that  very small amount of investment or money traded, and this what makes us that having that kind of desperation and decided that we do dive in with trading up with meme coins. Actually it isnt bad as long you are trading up with caution and having that outmost awareness when it comes to awareness.

The sad thing on here is that there are some newbies who are that believing that they can make sure money with meme coins and ending up on doing some all in investing with their life savings on which we know that this is indeed suicide. Trading mistakes are normal because we are dealing up with unpredictable market on which its alright to have those errors but as we do go ahead we do able to make those learnings on which it will be teaching us to become more wiser as the day passing by. Just make it sure that these errors will be used up as your stepping stone ahead.

Overtrading and overconfidence are the two mistakes I will not like to face this new year, because I have lost plenty of profit last month when I was over trading to make what will allow me to celebrate the new year in a different style. Over confidence make me not to trade in the right time, because there are some signal that made me to be over confidence, because there is nothing like lost in my mind until I started trading to notice some changes in the market.

No matter what that will happen in the market that will make traders to start over trading, I will not be involve, because I have learned a lesson. My biggest mistake was poor control of emotions and ambition when investing. Rushing to buy, rushing to sell. Always relying on FOMO in every trading decision without analyzing all the necessary aspects. Now I’m starting to realize that. People often face losses due to their haste and high expectations, just like you mentioned. This is true, if you cannot keep yourself calm and make realistic decisions, then it can definitely put you in losses, nothing can actually be achieved in a hurry, in the field of work where you rush, you will face failure. You have to keep yourself calm and create a mindset to make the right decisions, because once a mistake is made, that mistake cannot be corrected. So what you lose once will not come back, so you must be careful.

Trading is a demanding profession especially mentally. When trading we must maintain discipline at all times. Even a moment of carelessness, negligence, or lack of discipline can lead to losses. This was also my mistake last year a lack of discipline and rash decision-making, sometimes even influenced by FOMO.

I admit having been trading for a long time, I should have learned a lot from experience. But that's the nature of trading every year has a different pattern because it's difficult to predict so we unconsciously make mistakes. I hope my trading improves significantly this year.

Another can trade few yet very profitable for doing those. One has to trade not so much if they want to be a profitable trader. My emotions usually come into play when trading and it comes more when I’m one a losing streak. Getting angry and want to get back at the market is not a nice idea, I have been there before and I know the resultant of it. to move forward toward the success we’re aiming for.

But the truth is, not everyone will be successful in the end. This means only a few investors will truly

I felt like things were not getting any better, and I sold so I can buy back later when it drops, but it kept on going up after I sold, I tried to chase the wave here and there, bought and sold here and there, and I did alright but it was mostly break even after that point, so while I did made some profit overall, it was less than what could have been and that is not really a good move for me and could have been better.

It’s not about the number of time you spend trading, you might be trading for a long time, and you going to be losing, and someone that trade maybe once in a week, or twice in a week might even be making more money than the person that trade daily. As a trader, always know what works better for you, just because you notice that some certain people are always trading frequently, doesn’t mean you also going to join them and be doing the same, it might be working for them, but when you give it a trial, then it might not work for you.

I know of someone that don’t trade more than 2-3 times in a month, he isn’t always in rush, he is always calm and is always looking for perfect time to enter a trade, and that’s really working for him, because I will say he is making money more than people trading almost everyday.

I think my trading mistakes was over confidence because the manner at which I feel confidence over some trades don't actually resonates my spirit but diminish it in no time which is quite not a good one for me in most cases. The goal is to trade wisely and not blindly but sometimes you'll want to put in efforts not like you're taking trading to be some way of making money but hopefully lessons learnt and corrected the mistakes and this year I don't expect to make such ever again.

I think my biggest mistake was not directly related to trading, but to the fact that I decided to pick several altcoins in order to receive future airdrops. I sent these altcoins into staking and as a result I did not receive any worthwhile airdrops, while the price of those altcoins dropped so much that I consider this my biggest mistake of recent years. It's kind of gambling and gets even more insane when you are playing with meme coins with no value or utility. Another mistake I did and will try to avoid in 2026 is to hold shit coins for too long.
