I really don't buy the idea of government taxing every possible winning from gamblers, as me and you are pretty aware gambling is full of risk so for someone to be risking his hard earned money over the years in gambling then after being lucky to win a single streak out of all that's been lost then the government will now spring out from nowhere and start demanding for tax not knowing the sacrifice and the lost you suffered, I am not too comfortable with such idea.

The deductions made directly at the participants of the betting policy is a financial tool increasing the scope of the state revenue that it can claim above the cost of running service providers. You may be left bitter when you know a part of the prize money is being cut off the publicate kitty before the money falls to their hands. Taxes should help the country, although the concept sounds great, I understand your frustration coming from a country with too much corruption where the results of that loan are not immediately visible, but the legal requirement, whether we like it or not, is that these kinds of things should pay taxes on them like any other business, whether online or not.

Government tax is nothing new to us; we already know that the government generates revenue from such activities, so they would definitely go for it. Also, the casinos know that they make a good profit from gambling and would want to remain in their business so they would need to abide by the rules of the jurisdiction they belong or exist by deducting the tax at first before issuing out the win as you have stated because if they do not take such step, it would be on them to pay up for the tax so they would not want to allow such to happen to them.

That is sad news if the government won't care about their citizens who win in gambling but get killed while protecting their money for their families. The government supposedly helps those victim families and takes care of them with well. Taxes help a country to develop by allocating funds to build more facilities and provide better services to their people. And the government must take care of their people. The rate at which government is taxing gamblers from win is much, for me I don't see any need to why such amount should be taxed on the gambler why they don't refund Gamblers that Lost in there bet I see it as pure wickedness. It would have been better to compensate losers and and tax winners not just taxing only winners. In my country, winnings on lottery and other licensed gambling places including online gamblings are considered taxable income. Since they are licensed under the government, you can't really escape taxes. That's just like part of it. Cause even on what you do and buy daily, there will be taxes. What more for gambling.
