If there were no laws in place, then I doubt humanity would exist at all because we always evolved only when we lived as a group but usually humans are greedy animals so if no laws protecting others then strong ones will try to eliminate the remaining ones from the competiution that leads to loss of lives and eventually very few people will remain and there is no room for development anymore, we all have to focus on the survival alone.

I do not think that if there is no law, humanity will be destroyed. Humanity existed long, long before these modern laws were established. Humans used to live in group and there were different ways in which they used to cooperate with each other and live happily. With help of morality, people can understand difference between right and wrong and respect each other culture without having fear of punishment. The problem is not that there is loss but problem is created when these laws are made to control people rather than giving them protection. If there are good laws then they help to protect freedom and they also help people protect themselves from getting harmed. Instead of thinking that if there is no law, society and humanity do not exist, it is fairer to think about whether laws that are made are fair and necessary or not. Sometimes some laws become hurdle in protecting the people and they also sometimes limit their freedom.

We can't compare the time period of hunter-gatherers and modern society, back in the day we live in few thousands all over the world but now it is 8 billion that makes the huge difference and we are not following the survival of fittest anymore on the literal sense. People have morale, ethics and whatnot as long as when it comes to theirneeds and when they need something then they will be ready to do anything to keep them alive which may include harming others too.

Freedom is not totally free. Before law came into place, life was brutal, cruel and inhuman; life was based on survival of the fittest and toughest. God have made laws in place for humanity to adopt, so we can't take laws away from God because even God run this world by his laws, which humans need to obey to remain in peace with the good they worship.

Yes, you are right. Some laws made by the government may be illogical or not liked by the people. But without law people could not be controlled. People get freedom because of law. A person wants to live freely, without any fear and wants security. To get this freedom, there must be order in that country. Only then will equal rights and freedom of all people be ensured in the society. And if this could not be done, powerful people would always take advantage of others by destroying their freedom. By freedom I mean enjoying the rights that I deserve properly. But by destroying the rights of others, destroying their security, I will enjoy the benefits, this cannot be freedom. We all know that laws are needed in the society. If the society is without law then I think people will always commit crimes and get away with it. But I think people should know that there is a difference between laws that are supposed to keep people safe and laws that is making living unnecessary difficult for the citizens.  Just because a law is made by those in power, it does not mean that it is fair

Remove religion from this discussion. People will disagree with you a lot because we all have what we  believe in about creation. Be more realistic and leave the divine aspect out of the conversation. No one would know how life would have been if we were truly in the Garden of Eden. Who knows? This issue of making laws to favour those in power but not for the betterment of the country is where mistakes are made in some situations, in most serious cases our leaders introduce some laws with a primary objective of enriching themselves and not for the betterment of the country.

Look, in the current position, people are not obliged to obey the laws of the Creator, those who obey them are able to live a happy life later. And those who believe in the laws made by the people of the world and live their lives according to them will not find happiness in the future, there is great happiness in their world but this happiness is not eternal and temporary.
But if we are accountable to the Creator, then those who obey the laws of the Creator are the only ones who are right, and those who obey the laws of the world are wrong and will have to suffer punishment. People live socially and for security, it will be possible to live properly.

I think law is very important for the existence of humanity and it does not limit the potential of humanity,  because if there is no law guiding humanity, the world will be in serious chaos. Before the development of politics and government humans live by survival of the fittest, which means the strong can kill the weak and take over his lands and even family. This only kills the potential of those that are kills, because I believe every human has potential,  but by cutting their life short, they can't show their potentials. The development of laws helps in controlling the way humans live and also help them develop their potentials.

I am not entirely convinced that laws are something that allow humanity to develop to its full potential. Way before existence of formal legal system or government, humans were not living in a world where the stronger were oppressing the weaker ones. People can survive through mutual understanding, cooperation and also with the help of sharing responsibilities. When laws are unfair, they can limit human potential or be designed to protect only people who are in power. In history, it has been shown that sometimes government use law to restrict freedom of common man, to silence criticism and also to prevent people from working for their goals and ambitions. Laws are one of the first things that have been in place right from creation of man from the Christian believe God created man and put him in the garden of eden and God instructed man not to eat of the fruit in the middle of the garden and I think that was where the first law came in from, so for the society to be a better place there has to be laws and rules and regulations keeping people away from doing certain things that are harmful to them and even the next person.

There can't be total or 100% love for each other in the present society we are now and that is because of a lot of factors, the only thing that can keep people together and make the society work is law, yes the law should be transparent and everyone should be equal, but you that it is actually not possible for everyone to be equal in a society, those that are making the love and those that are enforcing the law will always have a higher stand in the society than the ordinary citizens however, this does not mean that the Law is not important, it is very important because without it the world or the society will become more bad and damaging than the way it is.

The harsh reality of today is that a financially influential person controls the law. Where the law is equal for everyone, an influential person never obeys the law but he never faces any accountability or punishment for not obeying the law, as if the law is only for ordinary people but for those who have huge money and power, the law is nothing. And when an ordinary person is punished for a minor crime, while someone powerful gets away with a major crime, then people's faith in the law weakens. And that is why there must be morality in a society, the law must be an impartial judicial system, the law must be equal for everyone and no one should be given any special privileges in any matter, until it is not stopped that the application of the law by judging the power or influence of a person, the law will never be able to build a fair society.

Government was supposed to be the answer. The biggest problem with US government today is this. Statutes say 'person'. Government people apply 'person' that they made up in their legislation, to people who have not been legislated into existence because they were created by God and nature, not legislation. I agree with you.In every case it should be understood that freedom does not mean using one power over the weak but living openly and safely is called freedom.But those who have power and money follow these laws very rarely because they know that they will escape the laws with their power and money.Although the law is the same for everyone everyone should have the right and the freedom to live openly so that they do not face any problems due to pressure from anyone.For example since there is no traffic police on the road anyone can drive as they wish and anyone can get hurt.That is why fair laws are made for our safety.
