US military action in Nigeria

The US does not invade Nigeria just like that. Still, instead they inform the government and also plan this together, we can't compare that of the case in Venezuela to that happening in Nigeria, they are different things entirely, sometimes, US could go far beyond their reach and they maintain between all they could, the best is that we should not expect any external influence than what we could motivate and render on our own self from within.

The US worked hand in hand with the Nigerian military to bombered the terrorists but we know that the superior firepower came from America, who are capable to do the damage against the terrorists without help from the Nigerian military. What I'm wondering is if the terrorists regroups again whether the US will be there to fight them off again because clearly the Nigerian military either don't have the willpower or are incapable to fight terrorism. Countries should be well equiped to fight insecurities because they cannot always depend on foreign powers to fight for them in their own territory.

The US involvement in fighting terrorism in Nigeria, is different from their invasion of Venezuela, to abduct their president, one is help while the other is arrest ( kidnap)

I don't know why Trump is not focusing on the main American problem but he choose to strike any country of his choice when every country have their own problem to solve. Nigeria has so many corrupt politicians that are using insurgency to embezzle billions in dollar without bringing the problem to a halt because they know that the money will not be coming again. The case in Venezuela is a case of kidnapping and Trump should stop this because he is losing his potential as the president of the world country (United States). The United States should not be the first to attack another sovereign nation that have a head, this is misuse of power.

I mean... The case of Nigeria and Venezuela are pretty different from one another. In Venezuela they had two very specific targets, the dictator and his wife. In Nigeria there is no just a couple of targets or VIPs, but rather an entire organizations of terrorists and bandits which the government of Nigeria has shown to be inneficient at combating by their own means, so the government of the United States cannot easily perform quirugical attacks as they did in order to capture Nicolas Maduro, because it would be proven to be useless to stop bandits and terrorists. I am afraid the USA may use more brute force against outlaws in Nigeria to get things under control.

Venezuelan president's case needed more drastic measures and was more threatening to the U.S than the case of Nigerian Bandits/terrorists. Remember that Trump claims for adopting Maduro and his wife was that he's the leader of a drug cartel that smuggles drugs to the U.S, held possession of arm bought from his enemies (Russia and China) and involved trade with them, he also claim that Venezuela went against the deal they had with U.S oil companies, chevron in particular.
 Whereas his worry concerning Nigeria was that the Islamic terrorist groups was becoming a threat to Nigeria Christians and needed to strike a particular region they occupied to scare the rest and force the Nigerian government to act on protecting Christians. So you see, that why same measure weren't used concerning adopting Maduro and striking a terrorist camp in Northern Nigeria. If Nigeria was more threatening maybe the delta force would've visited Aso Rock already.

In your opinion, what is the main problem facing the US?

In my opinion, the main problem for the US is that its global power and influence are waning. Meanwhile, their rivals, such as Russia, China, and the BRICS, are becoming increasingly powerful and challenging the order they have maintained for decades.

If you look closely, you will notice that the presence of China and Russia in Venezuela and Africa is becoming increasingly evident. Therefore, if we were in the position of the US, we would realize that everything the Trump administration is doing is in the interests of America and to restore its leadership position. It was a much bigger and more important war, and it needed to be addressed as a priority over domestic issues
