I strongly believe everyone eyes got the right caption.
So I visited the mall with a friend and came across this book titled "the missing crypto queen"
and I stopped to take the photo and since the book is wrapped I could not read about it contents to see how interesting it is before I will buy it.
So I am enquiring from the forum I believe the learnability of the users.
For those that may have read the book, please I am curious to know if the book actually is biased or unbiased based on the captions as marked.
But whichever way, I know bitcoin and crypto currencies bases its adoptions on speculation and whichever way, criticism is also what had brought crypto this far which I believe the people are becoming wiser to believe life has become tough that no risk no rewards snd that is just why they could ignore the enemies of progress and freedoms with their criticisms on bitcoin and cryptos.
What can anyone say about this book please. I might afford to go back and buy it if it will really give a back up for my crypto journey. Thanks.

I see BBC on the cover and already know it’s nothing positive about bitcoin. The story itself is not about bitcoin, it’s a BBC story of the scammer Dr Ruja Ignatova who duped people into investing in OneCoin and disappeared with billions of dollars. If you had picked the book up and looked at the back cover you would have gotten the general idea of the book.

You don’t have to buy the book, google search will give you the information you need. You can also watch the YouTube video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FTnTToWEHvI

What can anyone say about this book please.
I did not read this book, did not know about it but with given information in the photo from the book title "The missing crypto queen" to its short description "one of the biggest scams in history", I quickly think of the queen founder of Onecoin.

That project is a Ponzi one, founded by a woman, many years ago, and it was very hot in several years before the founder was arrested and sued.

You can search and find information about the book.

Quote
175 countries, four billion dollars, one the thrilling rise and fall of the biggest cryptocurrency con in history and the woman behind it all

In 2016, on stage at Wembley Arena in front of thousands of adoring fans, Dr. Ruja Ignatova promised her followers a financial revolution. The future, she said, belonged to cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. And the Oxford-educated, self-styled cryptoqueen vowed that she had invented the Bitcoin Killer. OneCoin would not only earn its investors untold fortunes; it would change the world.

By March 2017, more than $4 billion had been invested in OneCoin in countries all around the world. But by October 2017, Ruja Ignatova had disappeared, and it slowly became clear that her revolutionary cryptocurrency was not all it seemed. Fortune was left asking, “Is OneCoin the biggest financial fraud in history?”

In  The Missing Cryptoqueen , acclaimed tech journalist Jamie Bartlett tells the story he began in his smash hit BBC podcast, entering the murky worlds of little-regulated cryptocurrencies and multilevel marketing schemes. Through a globe-crossing investigation into the criminal underworlds, corrupt governments, and the super-rich, he reveals a very modern tale of intrigue, techno-hype and herd madness that allowed OneCoin to become a million-person pyramid scheme—where, at the top, investors were making millions and, at the bottom, people were putting their livelihoods at risk. It’s the inside story of the smartest and biggest scam of the 21st Century—and the genius behind it, who is still on the run.

It's simply about a scammer who developed a shitcoin, which she claims will outperform Bitcoin. Ruja Ignatova's OneCoin scam was a Ponzi Scheme that made millions of greedy and ignorant people lose about $4 billion. This scammer used the proceeds from her scams to live a lavish lifestyle until she disappeared in 2017. Since then, there have been speculations that she has been sighted in some countries, but none have been confirmed by relevant authorities. Some news even claimed that she has been murdered , however, this has not been verified.

It's obvious that the book has nothing to do with Bitcoin.

This book tells the story perfectly, and the research is amazingly thorough, including highlighting all the known clues that were thrown up along the way and the warnings to investors, the story is based on greed, deceit and herd behaviour. People invested on onecoin despite it lack of blockchain and actually cryptocurrency, trust me, in this era no one will attempt taking such risk no matter the hype.
