No one knows it all, which is a solid reason to engage in communities. For example, I've learned so many things on Bitcointalk about cryptocurrency, I mean some things I wouldn't have ordinarily learned easily. Also, I could remember a while ago on another forum, despite trading for so long, I learned something unique from a newbies. Can you imagine? A newbie! That's the power of diversity, and "no one is an highland of knowledge", we learn everyday and communities like forums makes it easier and more efficient.

It really comes down to how you learn best both community unity learning and organized approaches have unique benefits when it comes to understanding Bitcoin complexity
learning in a group can be really helpful because of the common motivation, responsibility and the chance to ask detailed questions.

In a varied view you get valuable insight from individuals with different experiences like developers, investor artists and philosophers. Which is in understanding.

well from my point of view learning Bitcoin from a community as a newbie I think it's not a bad idea we'll when I mean community like:

* we have the reddit Bitcoin community with millions of tech guy and Bitcoin bad ass guys
and also places like discord, crypto hub,Alt crypto talk

* Binance Academy which most use of learning more about Bitcoin

* Bitcoin conferences,local meetups

More ideas can come in this are the little the point I can drop in for now.....
It is definitely not a bad idea to learn about crypto currency from a crypto community because just like you have said earlier that it will be easier to ask detailed questions and also get answers and motivations too.
But as a matter of fact, if someone is smart they can learn anything they won't through the help of the Internet, currently there have been so many AI tools that can breakdown any questions to your understanding. By the way as for me, I don't really value people's motivations towards me. I don't say it's completely bad but I don't value them at all.

Well, I would say that learning about Bitcoin from the community is much easier if you are interested because we have many developers, maybe some Bitcoin miners, very skilled Bitcoin investors in this forum who are always spreading their knowledge about the background of btc or investment methods here. Even in our Nigerian LB there are such wise and very sharp BTC investors so if we can come into contact with all those Bitcoin experts in this Naija board and global board from the very beginning then learning about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is not a difficult thing, but if you really want to learn from Nigerian Local Board and Global Board, you have to move forward with personal study and personal research.

I won't say you are wrong because you are half wrong and the reason I say this is because we still have people that learn from community and yet nothing to show at the end  but ordinarily learning with community will trigger and push one to be better than the others but it is unfortunate this doesn't work and apply for every human some will still do anyhow they like. Some people taught theirselve so many things in life and they are guru in those field and what I'm trying to say is that where we learn and who we learn with doesn't really matter what matters is our decision and determination.
Anyone that learns bitcoin from a community like this and ends up not knowing anything about bitcoin, it's the person's fault and not the community's fault. I even prefer learning bitcoin in a community like this because where you are finding it difficult to understand, you can easily ask questions, and alot of users who have good or sound knowledge about bitcoin will come to your aid and make you understand it very easily. But if you are learning bitcoin on your own, it will be very difficult for you to get good answers where you don't clearly understand.

Learning Bitcoin from a community is very helpful because you also get to see people that are doing the same thing and you won't feel bored studying by yourself but it doesn't just require learning in a group for you to be good at it, it's takes hard work and determination, consistency and while you are learning in a group also make sure to do some research on your own because people make mistakes and there could be wrong information about Bitcoin in the group so you also need to learn how to research things. Even here in the forum you will be advised to do research by yourself to fully understand what you are doing or getting yourself into, i wouldn't be able to learn anything about Bitcoin on my own though I did my own learning by myself outside the forum but this forum has shaped my understanding about Bitcoin and I'm sure there's still a lot to learn here.
Community learning helps a lot, but real understanding comes from combining group learning with personal research and consistency.

Every individuals with there ways of understanding some learn faster where there is groups of people while some learn faster by studying by themselves indirectly saying you could be either right or wrong this is based on individualistic learning characters, when learning or studying on oneself it guarantees more time  to carryout more research which is more beneficial while learning in a group warrant an individual to depend on someone else ideas but what matters is how far you have grown.

In my opinion, physical communities are not really that necessary even if they could help in some cases. Thanks to the internet we have a means with almost no barriers.
Places like this forum are the best place to learn and practice Bitcoin because it is anonymous and your privacy is secure. Physical community gathering and orientation an be good if you have set of people with the same mindset that are not just willing to make quick money, you will not get the encouragement to learn the right thing, you will be driven into making f quick money which will not be well because if you did t learn well in digital world, you will lose; therefore, learning from internet and reputable platform like this forum is more important and more reliable than depending on one or two people to share information with you.

It's not always easy to learn digital skills and practices by merely reading through, it scales more through when practical actions are taken into consideration consistently.

It might be hard to just read on the internet how to conduct p2p trading skills, but it transform life when practical actions are been taken consistently to master it over time.

You're right, because reading alone is not enough for you to learn digital skills rather if you do it practically in a consistent manner the knowledge will stick much better, you can read about p2p trading excessively but the action will speak for you and teach you more better

Little practice overtime, that's what brings real transformation and makes you a master . Because if you put hope on only reading nothing will change thats why there's this saying "practice makes perfect". If you practicalize it, it will show good result at end of the day.

Some people taught theirselve so many things in life and they are guru in those field and what I'm trying to say is that where we learn and who we learn with doesn't really matter what matters is our decision and determination.

This is not true for all communities though and it depends on the community you’re putting your focus on and learn from. It is either the community was never a valuable one to have been dependent on to learn from or the person learning is not taking the lesson very seriously for his own good. It is quite unfortunate that one will be in a valuable community to learn about bitcoin and still miss the opportunity to come out more knowledgeable about bitcoin.

Just like the Bitcointalk community, I have not come across a better online community gathering about bitcoin that is very influential and productive to ones knowledge about bitcoin. This is a good recommendation to learn from the best here if you’ve being learning alone and nothing comes out of it. The bitcoin community is very supportive and actively ready to help, so seeing one without such etiquettes will make one ponder if they’re really a community of Bitcoin like they claim to be.

I have learned from this community what I knew about Bitcoin and got more ideas and advice. This is a place to gain extensive knowledge where you will get the opportunity to get advice from highly knowledgeable people.

Learning on your own is possible oo, but it is just slower and sometimes more confusing, especially as a newbie. Being in a community just makes things easier because you are not relying on just one source or your own assumptions. You will see different opinions, and experiences, and even mistakes people have made, which saves you.

Bitcointalk is a good example of that. You will find people who have been in the space for years, and they are ready to share what they know.

Learning from community or not depends on point of interest and dedication you are before you could lean anything from where ever you found yourself. There are people who had the opportunities to learn from the community or from themselves by making research online but due to some circumstances there weren't able to develop their mind and learn it from the community because things over here are not just coming to start making profits immediately but you can be having patient and learning, reading voraciously without having to wait for anyone out there to teach you and you could scale up perfectly. However, one could learn from the community and also by themselves is just depending on point of interest.

Community learning helps a lot, but real understanding comes from combining group learning with personal research and consistency.
Now you hit the point better, while community learning helps in teaching and developing individuals on bitcoin knowledge, it's left for individuals to build upon such knowledge through their consistent research and quest for better understanding. It also involves them trying out some investment options like buying, trading or even mining so they get a better knowledge based on practical experience

I'm surprised you mentioned other crypto communities but failed to mention bitcointalk. It is the most educational crypto community that ever existed. You don't have to pay or do all sorts of things to be a member and the knowledge you get here is topnotch.

To me yes, it's good as a beginner to learn from a community, but it's better to learn from a place that has factual data and reliable mentors that will educate you on various aspects of crypto.

There have been people who are excelling in Bitcoin currently who during their learning phase how to do everything on their own because they had no knowledge of any communities that they could share knowledge among themselves like this one, but somehow they found a way to push through. This is to say you should not just depend on a community to gain knowledge on cryptocurrency particularly Bitcoin if you are very much interested in learning, you should be able to own your own do personal research and find opinions and resources about bitcoin that you can learn from.

* Bitcoin conferences,local meetups

More ideas can come in this are the little the point I can drop in for now.....
Every forms of learning does comes with their merits and demerits, the thing is that you just have to find that which suits you the most and try to see if you can cope learning in that way, for me i love learning all by myself but i will make sure to be a part of a community while i do the learning because i do believe in community ideas which i do see helps sometimes to inspire and also keep you updated with some new information and learnings which you may not be aware of especially if you are all by yourself.

community learning also offers you versatility but can also bring about some forms of unnecessary competition if you don't know how best to handle it and you are not good at managing situations when you fond yourself in such environment, for some, they will use it to fuel their drive while some will use it to their own disadvantage and probably get discouraged and may not continue with learning any more.
