Why are you arguing semantics?
I didn't. How do you come to the conclusion that I did?

If "to argue" can be defines thusly:  give reasons or cite evidence in support of an idea, action, or theory, typically with the aim of persuading others to share one's view.  Wouldn't this indicate an attempt at clarification and not an argument since no evidence was presented in conjunction with the question?

These spirals are everywhere in nature; the snail's shell, patterns in a sunflower, in cloud formations, and even in our ears! Why is that so?
