Happy New Year to everyone, who already welcomed 2026 and forthose who are still waiting. Difficult to say something new, so, I'll repeat something similar what I wish every year - let 2026 to be safe, healthy and peaceful.

Here in Nigeria we still have about 1hr and 48 minutes to 2026. The excitement in this time of the year is always different and it's as if there's something unique about the next day that the next year and the year after doesn't have. Well, people are just happy they ain't in the hospital, grave or prison after 365 days of the year.

That’s the most interesting thing about time zones, some of us get to arrive before others and enjoy the beauties of a time yet to arrive but in the end, it comes to us all. On that note, with just about an hour away from here, I’m am taking this happy new year and extending mine to you all as well.

You know the annoying thing is that, the politics that is played at this world stage is at the expense of a lot of lives, lives that could have changed the world for the better. We would find peace in our world someday, someday.
