If you look at the history of Bitcoin and in previous bear cycles, Bitcoin has been dumped and dropped by as much as 70-80%. Therefore, it is entirely possible that the price will fall to $50k if history repeat itself and the bear market remain as brutal as before.

I know many people do not want Bitcoin to drop sharply because that would affect our investment portfolios. But let's be realistic and fair, if we believe that Bitcoin could double or triple in value. Let's accept that Bitcoin could also drop by 50-60%, and that is normal.
Furthermore, this is actually a good thing because we can buy bitcoin at a better discount, but it is hard to understand why so many people are afraid of it

There is nothing wrong with speculation, all Bitcoin or crypto users have their own opinions when it comes to speculation and Bitcoin price predictions, but it would be great if this speculation at least had a clear reason and source for the development of the crypto market and also the price of Bitcoin, not just speculation that was born because of sensation or that we were seen as rich people with large amounts of bitcoin adoption.

Currently, we often see that Bitcoin speculation is not born from crypto experts, on the contrary, it is born from artists, musicians, artists, actors and so on, that is the problem that is currently arising so that many Bitcoin users are confused between belief and disbelief, hopefully in the future we will actually see the results of Bitcoin price speculation at least close to 70-80% of the truth.

Crypto are volatile in general but frankly speaking, Bitcoin isn't as volatile as it used to be 5 years ago. Like the price barely moves such these days although there are some ups and downs. Like 5 years ago you would sleep in fear what might happen tomorrow morning lol, at least now there is no such fear. That's because the total market cap is massive and takes billions to just move it let alone dumping the market.

I am not sure what to make of BTC and other coins in 2026 because every time I have predicted something, it goes exact opposite lol. Holding some coins nonetheless and hope it does well eventually.

You're right and wrong in a way. Right in the sense that once Bitcoin gets to a particular point, when it drops, it doesn't fall too much unlike in 2021 and 2022 period but also, but last year, around October or thereabouts when there was a mass drop which led some people who are weak hands by the way to lose so much in the market, one went as far as commiting suicide. Yeah, it may not have dropped to dramatic lows like it used to but for that individual, it felt like the end of the world for him.

Is so funny how you said anything is possible and at the same time saying that $50k is too low for Bitcoin to dip in this year, I don't have any doubt about anything happening in this crypto space though there can be some unrealistic predictions, I am only positive about Bitcoin going up and down but when it comes to predictions know one can actually be certain about it, surely Bitcoin may likely not go down to $50k this year in my predictions and it could go up to 150 to $200k this year I see Bitcoin being more bullish than bearish this year.

One thing about Bitcoin is you can never know what will be the lowest amount of Bitcoin or the highest amount. But when it comes to buying Bitcoin, never wait to buy at the lowest because it makes no sense, and if you have the mentality to wait for the lowest price of Bitcoin, you will keep on waiting. It is better to buy, and if you come across a low amount of Bitcoin, you can always buy.

Low prices of Bitcoin are opportunities you don't wait for; you just buy what you can afford when the price of Bitcoin drops. When the year starts like this, nobody knows what the movement of Bitcoin will be like, but it is just right to buy, knowing the price of Bitcoin will be profitable in the future if only you HODL Bitcoin.

But that's like 50% or so drop if the price goes to that low.

Of course, the crypto market is about speculation and from when you made this post till now i think the market have slightly gained strength which indicates that despite numerous speculations of a bearish trend, the market might not go too low as many people are thinking. My prediction for the lowest price of bitcoin for this year is $70k because i don't think that the price will DIP much but as for the highest it will reach, am predicting the price to reach $130k. It may go higher than that but i just feel that the peak will be around that price.

Everyone has a reason to why they think bitcoin will reach certain prices in some time, mostly their analysed predictions is based on the market condition at the present but overtime, we mostly get to see that those speculated prices changes due to the change in the conditions of the market.

We should always get ready to know and follow the best path in the market directory in order to make the best choice in our bitcoin investment journey. To my own opinion on the current state of the market, the market is more leaned to a bear run than a bull run. So my lowest prediction should be around $60 while may highest should be a price just below $100K.

Honestly, it is very difficult to predict Bitcoin, it is all speculation. Now it is not bad to predict Bitcoin, many analysts make different predictions, but there is no guarantee that they will be correct. However, at the beginning of the new year the market was a bit bullish, it was $94k plus. Now this year I will not expect much, I will expect to see a new ATH and it is very difficult to say what the minimum will be, because the market will not be like the past, so I cannot predict based on the past. However, if you want to invest in Bitcoin, do not wait for a specific price, because you cannot say whether the price will decrease accordingly, so it is wise to continue investing in the DCA method.

As I've stated before in other threads, I personally assume Bitcoin won't drop back to $60,000-$70,000, or even $50,000. But, no one knows what will happen, but if it does, I'll take advantage of the opportunity by investing some of my money. And with the price rising, I don't think it'll reach $150,000, but luck will be on those with substantial Bitcoin investments.

Highest prediction? I will say around $100,000 at best.

TBH, I don't think that Bitcoin will reach new ATH as of this moment. I'm still leaning towards the fact that the 50 Weekly MA is acting as a strong resistance, and it has a high win rate based on history. It shows that when Bitcoin surpasses that line and stayed above it for quite some time, that shows that we are in a bull market, and vice-versa. Right now, we are below it showing that we might be in a bear market already, but who knows. We might see something that hasn't happened before.

While looking at the 50 Weekly MA, I also looked at the 200 Weekly MA which sits at around $57,000 currently. I'm thinking that it might act as a long-term dynamic support for the bear market since it has been respected multiple times during the history of Bitcoin. Just be ready for what could happen.

We can't tell how far Bitcoin can drop and how huge it can pump but similar to what you said, it's your own assessment and analysis and if you are aiming to invest or re-enter the market, those numbers are the position that you need to prepare yourself in case that the market dumped down, having that mentality gives you that confidence that it may pump back and will acheive whatever the position you take for your sell position after buying your assets.

Our target for 2025 is for Bitcoin to reach $150k, and that's why many people missed out on taking profits, as they believed it would definitely reach that target. But even that goal hasn't been achieved, so how can we even think about reaching $250k this year?

I also stand to doubt that $250K is achievable in 2026, 150K is a lot more realistic than $250K, the reach for $250K is something for another cycle. We are supposed to be heading towards market dips, if eventually the market is to make an all time high, it won't get past $150K heading to $250K.

My lowest prediction for Bitcoin in 2026 is about $50K or within that range, of $60k, and if it drops so heavily, $40K, which i don't think Bitcoin will drop so much.

To be honest, I even doubt that $250k can be reached in the next halving cycle, let alone this year. Bitcoin would have to double from its 2025 ATH of $126k, and that is no longer easy. Because Bitcoin's market capitalization is no longer small.

As for the prediction of Bitcoin bottom in 2026, I agree with you. Bitcoin could return to $50k or even $40k if the macroeconomic situation worsens. I believe that if history repeats itself and 2026 is a bear market, things will be as devastating as before.

Looking at the last six months of Bitcoin price, the highest ATH was $126k and the lowest was $80k, which is a bearish indicator considering the current price. Looking at the last 7 days the index has increased slightly but I thought that the price of Bitcoin would continue to increase as expected from the beginning of the year.

I don't see much chance of Bitcoin price prediction for the first six months of 2026. I think the price will decrease and the minimum will be $75k and the maximum will be $112k. The possibility of price increase in the last six months of the year may increase and the minimum price during that time may be $95k and the maximum $137k.

However, let's not expect that Bitcoin will decline that low or that it will increase that high this year. According to the 4-year cycle pattern we should see some major drops, although some predict another peak at the beginning of the year, followed by a drop.
There's also a theory of a "super cycle" i.e. a much longer growth phase, structurally different from previous patterns.

My personal guess is somewhere in between. I think this 4-year cycle was the last one of this sort, but I still expect post-peak decline. I don't think it will be anywhere near severe as ~80% drops we've seen in the past, but I think we will go down below to the $70s region. After that, we're probably going to have slower and steadier growth, with ups and downs driven by macroeconomic news and events rather than being tied to halvings, which will have much lower impact now that over 95% of bitcoins have already been mined.
