Irrespective of other comments, I think it's perfectly fine for the user to discuss terms privately with the streamers. Anyone popular enough to enter into partnerships can also handle the negotiation process. They are not vulnerable newbies who could be taken advantage of in a private conversation.

Anyone popular enough is also unlikely to start their own negotiation with some unknown projects, though. God knows how many scam offers they got in their mailbox.
