BTC Sentiment Poll for 2026

I think we have been in a bear market since December last year, and with the look of things we wouldn’t know right now what stage we would be entering next this new year, all we can do is keep speculating, so I wouldn’t know if we would have a new all time high in this 2026, Considering the Volatility nature of Bitcoin we would never know what will happen.

Of course, we'll never know what will happen. What we can do is make predictions based on data from the past and what is happening in the present. But if we dare to face reality, it's very likely we've already entered a bear market, and it's not going to end anytime soon.

But I’m pretty sure that most of the investors who have been buying Bitcoin for a very long term, wouldn’t fancy a situation of Bitcoin price continues to dip more and more in the bear market.

I guess many of us didn't take profits when Bitcoin reached $126k because most believed it would reach $150k. Therefore, it is no surprise that nobody wants Bitcoin to fall any further in price or want to accept the fact that we're in a bear market.

Although it is very difficult to predict accurately, we can analyze the past charts, which show that the Bitcoin market is more likely to fall in 2026. However, some predictions currently seem to indicate that the Bitcoin market is likely to rise, but if we think realistically and look at the past, it is more likely to fall. The way the Bitcoin market grew in 2025, it may not grow as much in 2026, when the Bitcoin market has reached its highest ATH. Some predictions show that the Bitcoin market is more likely to become an ATH again in 2026, but basically we can confirm by looking at the past that there is also a possibility of the market going into a recession.

Just get it over and done with and vote.  The point of these polls is to vote according to how you feel today.  It's not whether you get it right or not.  It's just a 'sentiment' poll after all.  So don't concern yourself too much with getting it right.

I finished it before I left my speculation here. If someone asks what I voted for, I don't know what to choose. Lol

As for me, I never vote in my own polls but if I were to vote, I'd vote no.  The shenanigans that happened on Oct 10 has shown that crypto is still vulnerable to huge sell downs from a few players.  I don't think the big money guys are too keen in coming back at these price ranges.

There is no choice that tends to be close to the situation for annual sentiment. If the choice is not for monthly sentiment (January), then this January will be positive for the $100k price estimate.
Even though the choice is not for annual sentiment, I think you and I haven't forgotten that the volatility of Bitcoin prices can make that choice wrong. I like the difference in this speculation.

To be fair, anything can happen. But if we dare to face reality, it's clear that 2026 is more likely to be a bearish year than a bullish one.

Even if we ignore historical data, market cycles. The macroeconomic situation also does not support an upward price trend this year, as geopolitical instability has increased since the beginning of the year. Inflation remains high, and predictions of a Fed interest rate cut are quite cautious. Experts predict there will be only one or two interest rate cuts this year.

Given all of that, I also predict that the market is likely to enter a recession this year.

Expect to revisit the 200 day moving average which is around $55,000. We have seen this play out  before though. Bitcoin will make new all time highs but not for 2-3 years in my opinion.

There's probably only a few of us left who are holding that opinion/analysis in BitcoinTalk, and those of us who say it in the forum are the people being called stupid and wrong. Haha. Those people calling us names want everyone to buy blindly at ANY price.

They could just have healthy discussion and have critical thinking towards those situations or actions done by you or even with other people.

Everyone have their own opinion towards possible trajectory of Bitcoin and those people spreading hate towards other people are just total losers trying to make their selves smarts or cool to the eyes of other people.

They want everyone to listen to them, and only them, because they believe they are right and everyone who doesn't agree with them is wrong.

But many of them don't even have a basic understanding of Bitcoin. They probably believe they do, but it's actually a misunderstanding.

Don't get your hopes up that 2026 will be any better than the previous year --- it could even be worse with the potential for bitcoin prices to drop significantly.

Bitcoin's relatively positive price movement at the start of this year doesn't indicate that it will perform significantly better in 2026. This is only temporary. The market will likely face another pressure, potentially triggering drop and maybe it's pretty bad.

So just buckle up that this year is probably going to be a pretty bad year.

Political tensions are still very scary making people very hesitant to go deeper into assets like bitcoin, yesterday it did break out and I was also very happy because the price increase could finally be felt but after $94k it could not be held and instead fell again, very sad.

We don't know if this will be a retest or a bull trap, I hope the world remains safe so that BTC can have an optimistic sentiment among retail and institutional investors this year, if the macro economy is disrupted I doubt it will experience bullishness again.

For me, it is a good time because I will have more cash soon, when my debt is over I will be able to get more bitcoins, and because I believe price will go down, this is going to be better for us. This is why I trust that we are going to deal with a lot better future for me.

In 2026 there will be more bitcoin in my wallet, not sure how much, but if things all go according to plan then I am going to do fine and it is not going to matter that much for more. Things aren't that easy for me yet, and paying still some debt, but things will get better without a doubt.

The bitcoin cycle is over so the probability of switching to a bearish market will be very large this year, I agree with you that we must be prepared for situations that we cannot guess such a bad scenario, we better be careful than overconfident in this year, the beginning of the cycle is always a very terrible mystery for the crypto market.

I don't understand why there are so many people who believe that this season there is no more bear market, is there a very logical reason that we can accept with good sense for that statement? or just ready confidence and baseless speculation for them?

Since the question is directed towards the end of the year on December 31, 2026, I would say yes if Bitcoin can surpass its new highest price, but not far from its current ATH.
This January will be a month that shows whether a new ATH is still possible. The first week of January has already shown that Bitcoin's price movement is trying to rise, but the attempt failed as it fell back down. In the last 24 hours, according to the 4-hour chart, Bitcoin tested but failed because the sell ratio is still high.

Yes, I think majority of us here got excited when we see a huge pump early this year and still thought that we are in the bullish cycle. But this could be another trap set by entities, giving us false hope because after that pump, we are slowly getting back to where we started.

I guess the best thing to do right now is just to continue to accumulate. Let that excitement fuel us to think long term in this new cycle (I believed that we are already in the bearish season, so it's a reset already). Although we think that the political tension might have something to do with the current increased, it's not going to be sustainable and not be the catalyst to keep the market into a bullish state.

^  Yeah, been seeing a few people post that it's gonna be another 4 year cycle.  If so then that's good news...  It means that we're just months away before the market bottoms out and it's up only from there. 

Anyway it looks like we're in for another chop down.  Again...  Wait for US session.  The US market seems to be having a stronger influence on crypto lately.

Huge pump? No way man. It must only be a normal recovery from our last fall last time. I only consider it a huge pump, if we end up having $150k or more. That being said, the recovery can continue. If we are into long-term, we can continue doing the DCA method.

I guess the best thing to do right now is just to continue to accumulate. Long-term players are numb but if we are into shorter-terms, then yeah, it is an added motivation. We only need to control it, in order to exit on time. A political tension sounds negative, so it is weird if that is the one that causes an increase but whatever factor was that that affect the market, they always have their own expiration time. Some only last longer if another event also occur at the top of them.
