If you are well skilled gambler on the game you are good at and have a good knowledge and understanding with the sports bet for sure its more easier to you to make wins with the casino but if not for sure this will took a long journey before you become successful and a financial free in play gambling. If you think you are not of course having a good source of income is ideal such as having a good paying job, and extra source of income could be a sideline such a Business so you dont worry much about your daily needs. Gambling is about entertainment, that's true and it will remain that way forever, I hope gamblers can soon realize or maintain the awareness that gambling is not a job, as you said this OP is nothing more than an entertainment activity and nothing more than that, there is no problem if for example you want to stay involved in gambling but make sure you know and understand everything.

well that's true, gambling is a game of luck and not what we have to rely on, even to the extent of making it a new year resolution. although i dont know how true this is, but anyone planning to make wealth from gimbling might be making a huge mistake of his life. because that mentality will lead such person to gamble in a reckless manner.

That is the point, gambling is not for earning a passive income, nor is it a way of enriching yourself in short time periods. Instead, it is a way of escaping from stress and anxiety. People come to play different games and distract their minds for some time, and that's it.

However, if one truly thinks it is a good source of income, then they should know about discipline, control over their emotions, and bankroll management. If they lack all these things, then they will definitely be wasting their time, money, and emotions.

As much most people would want to believe that they gamble for fun, it's still inherent that the financial aspect cannot be neglected or taken out of the picture as well. Gambling for entertainment is not bad but could depend on the financial strength of the gambler. You would not expect someone who has little or nothing to gamble just for the entertainment, definitely it would be for the profits but that does not include the insurgence of addiction.

You could gamble for the profits and not become addicted to gambling as long as you keep your bankroll in order and spend as much as you cab afford to lose. It's possible to be at loss at the end of the month or the latter, it's results are never assured. I think hardly anyone who is around here does take gambling as a source of sustainable income. I know though that a few gamblers do, looking for the golden formula.

However, when those threads are opened, discussing this or that strategy, I think it is for gaining attention, not for gaining reasonable input. Whatever you do, luck plays the greatest role in all the decisions you make when you place a bet. Yet it is a lot of fun to be involved, have a little ticket opened on a game.

As the new year begins we all have the opportunity to start correctly, gambling isn't a source of income and as for those that have that idea you must change it this year...You cannot make gambling a full time job, one thing i intend to cut down this year is the time I put into gambling..avoid spending lots of time because this causes addiction, also learn to gamble responsibly by cutting down your stakes.

Gambling is entertainment, I have instilled that in myself, we may see people who claim to have become rich on the internet because of gambling, but I have never seen anyone I know personally who has become rich from gambling. But, we cannot separate the gambling we do without the hope of getting profit from it, if it is just for entertainment, look for other entertainment without risk!

That's a very good point from OP. For me, things are always focused on making them better every day, and that's why we have to be very careful with gaming. The most important thing is to protect ourselves from addiction, and to avoid addiction, we must have plans,plans with our work, our money, and everything else. I would like a study to be done on addicted people on the forum (maintaining their privacy), and then, after a certain time, they could say they are cured That would be wonderful.

I agree about this. Ever since I was young, I've seen a lot of gamblers, relatives, friends and just casual passerby who gambles and thought of the same.

They've won some but that didn't changed their lives and just gave them more emotion towards gambling that they have to win as much as they can to also recover losses that they have made.

I wish people could understand that but somehow they insist on being dumb intentionally. For casuals it is indeed 100% about luck. Professional gamblers don’t depend their luck alone but they are professionals. They gamble for a living. Most people here are wannabe professionals. They think they can beat luck but they have no idea what it takes to be pro. Spending time and energy on being a pro gambler is total waste imo. I stopped dreaming about it long time ago. I spend my time on that have better RoI since I noticed that. Playing for fun every once in a while is fine but don’t think you would get rich from gambling. That will never work. It is a big trap. Nope, I disagree, in gambling one should prioritize profit if one wants to be on the positive edge of the stick.  Prioritizing profit is taking gambling seriously, responsibly and cleverly. People who prioritize profit in gambling tread the waters carefully, thus they often end sessions with positive bankroll.

Happy new year everyone, it is another year to make amends, this year shouldn't be the same way the previous years were. making resolutions isn't really enough to keep yourself under control. if you think about it as a gambler you have made resolutions before but ended up gambling more irresponsibly. I agree that gambling isn't an investment, but almost no one gets into it just for fun. Everyone hopes to win something. The problem is when that becomes the main objective; then more problems arise, and unfortunately, addictions appear.
