Why is my topic locked?

I do not think igebotz locked the topic as he sent me merit, which means the thread is useful. I am really confused because we are facing new tax laws in Nigeria starting from January 1 of this year. I saw a news which is very important to us Nigerians about Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework's rollout which will give a clearer means for governments in different countries to collect tax. Nigeria is in the second group.

I also think this is very important for Nigerians to read about and I posted it on Nigeria board but it was locked probably by a global moderator because I did not lock it.


There is a spammer on the thread called Joy- maker by name which is like to lie and derail people's topics. He started posting rubbish thread as if my account did not grow.

Maybe you should be calm with him. He said use "VPN". Bingx is one of the exchanges website the Nigerian government banned, like the rest of Binance, Kucoin and coinbase.

I have posted already that Joy- maker like to spam, he failed to understand that the link is a crypto exchange, even without telling Nigerian that know about crypto exchanges in Nigeria, they should know that Bingx link can not work without VPN. I still posted about it that VPN should be used but fulfilling his own weekly paid posts is what he only cared about.

Just take a look at the way you expressed yourself, like someone who is about to commit suicide, lol. Before I clicked on the link my devise was already connected to a VPN, which I tried opening the link Thrice before making my comment maybe it's from my end.

And the funny part is, you K3K that your posts has no Atom of quality in them, you that is struggling to earn merit is calling me a spammer come on go and check my post history if you will see any of my comment that is low quality as yours with your 2 line sentence.

You did not lock the thread yourself, which is correct, a moderator did, as could clearly be seen if you checked the lock signal, but which moderator did that? My guess is the local board moderator, global moderator, barely comes to the local board when the local board moderators are active and is the one who understands his people and what they communicate better, you can ask your moderator reason for the locking, but my guess could be either because you also created same thread on the exchange section or because of the drama going on there.

I wonder why you are still making a drama out of this, the thread you created was not bad, but you and joy maker are taking it as an avenue to have a go at each other.
Their is a possibility that the thread might be locked by the moderator to restore order, but I advice you move on from this and accept his decisions.
He is actually doing his job to restore order in the board, or your thread might have been reported, so don't take it too personal mate, their is more to life than always seeking dramas.

Thread are not locked for lack of reason, I believe you the op and moderate has the power to locked a threat mostly as it's posted by you, seen it locked indicate the hand of moderator, all you need is to go through rules while most thread are been locked by moderator, according to some link posted by 9jaamaka, thread is having some conflating issue.

Hovering the mouse on the lock icon, you will see the information that is that topic locked by a moderator or by the topic starter. With your topic, it was locked by a moderator.

You are wrong, Joy- maker is acting like a kid and not that he is posting like a real member on this forum. I am always on this forum for him and I always see his spam posts.

Joy- maker wanted to derail the topic but this forum give freedom of speech, locking the thread is highly inappropriate. Such threads are left on English boards.

One is on local board and the other is on English board, some people will easily see it on the local board while they will not see the one on the exchange part of the English boards.

OP definitely knows that he didn't lock the topic himself. OP has created this topic to ask why the thread has been locked.

You made duplicate topics and moderators decided to lock one of them.

Since the topics were posted in the same language and there was no translation, the moderators probably saw them as duplicates.

Let me accept it as the reason, I wanted all Nigerians on the local board to see it, most of them are not posting on the exchange board but that left to the moderator that locked the thread. The thread will soon be automatically moved out of page one on the local board but not a problem because I have the information already which is not a problem for me.

Let me lock this thread to avoid spamming.
