Of course, I'm leaning towards the fact that there's no alt season at least not in the way we remember it to be. It'd just be some few isolated pumps for core assets that offer solid value proposition. Anything else that's shit (which is most other projects anyway) will continue to grind back to 0.

I also advise everyone to stay away from memecoins, especially meme on DEXs. They are too risky, even riskier than gambling. But if anyone still wants to invest in memecoin, my advice is to focus only on OG memes like Doge, Shiba, Floki, or newer memes like Pepe, Pengu...

I'm not saying they'll never disappear, but at least they'll last for a while longer, maybe even a very long time. Because they are all listed on most of the top exchange, even those with stricter standards like Coinbase and Robinhood, and their liquidity is quite good.

XRP already got some of their founders running out of Ripple due to the sell. If ethereum foundation is doing that too, perfectly fine. Most people won't have any problem with it. The only problem that people out there outlined about ethereum foundation selling ethereum is that they sold their ethereum when the market is looking pretty bad.
That was when ETH was floating around $1900 - $2500 that people keep telling the foundation to stop selling if i remember correctly.

Now that etheruem price has gone up again, i rarely seen people who complained abount foundation selling for operational costs. At the end of the day it comes down to the price.

I don't know if the Foundation has any staking income, but if it does, selling it wouldn't make much sense. Vitalik's inability to find ETH to sell at a later date could also reduce price pressure, but ETH needs to adopt different pricing policies. With the upgrades, transaction fees have started to decrease, but this shouldn't be the only solution. When the network is congested, we see how high transaction fees and GWEI can spike. A solution for this is also needed.

If the reason for an altseason is newbies coming in, then why "depend on bitcoin". Last 2 years, bitcoin increased by multiple times but was there any actual altseason? I think it's just because of the macro economy. People didn't have as much money as they did in 2017 or 2021 and as a result, they didn't dare throw it into shitcoin.  Besides, market now is full of worthless altcoins. Only a few selective altcoin will be pumped even if altseason were to come.

ETH, BNB, and SOL are the strongest altcoins currently, and they're following Bitcoin's price movements. I believe they'll likely see further increases in 2026, mirroring Bitcoin's price movements.
Several other altcoins also have the same potential, but I believe they'll be a bit risky, so I think it's better to invest in or buy only the top altcoins.

Depends, some people have such high egos that they do stuff that will hurt them, just because they want to hurt others even more. If he feels like he has been hurt and he thinks it's unfair then he will do whatever it takes to make sure every other person is the same and get out. This will be bad short term but I think it will still be fine long term. I have always wanted Vitalik to be completely out of ETH, not because of Vitalik himself, I have nothing against him, but I prefer decentralization completely.

Moreover, the list seems like incomplete without litecoin which must be one of the old coin and surviving till today. After litecoin, we have other coins like waves, tron, ada and etc. So, we may not have intensive bullish altcoin season as there are more coins which may dilute the investments focusing one or two coins.
