Where are kids going to get crypto from? They don't work, so how could they earn? Unless their parents give them money, I don't see another way, or are we heading into a time where people will be able to make an income by playing videogames without having to be top players on determined games?
Kids are smarter this days, besides some kids created an nft and profit from it, they have profited bigger than those who are been long to crypto, with those cute nfts, some kids are different they know how to find money, before you just need an account login join the airdrop and you'll received token that can be sold, with games you really need to be on top, that is the reality but there are some competition who give rewards or prize for joining a game right?

This may sound like a stupid question, but is it possible children will buy stuff using crypto in the future? I mean, today's generation is "digitally-native". Long gone are the days where kids used to pay for stuff with cash. In this era, digital payments are the norm. Since non-custodial crypto doesn't require KYC checks of any kind, any kid can set up a wallet, receive crypto, and start spending wherever it's accepted physically or online.
Do you think kids will find crypto appealing? If not, why? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. 🙂
It would make sense for children to play offline games, but is it really right for us to trust or assume that children today are working with crypto? Yes, one thing is especially important for children—and that is learning practical skills alongside their studies. However, if children start using smartphones to work with crypto online, there is a risk that they may fall into greed. This could lead them to focus only on short‑term gains and, in the long run, damage their future by making poor career decisions. So I would say that for children, it is far more important not to get distracted by online games or crypto. Instead of losing focus on their education, they should make the right decisions and concentrate on building a bright and secure future.

I have seen plenty of games where crypto is both depositable and withdrawable, most web3 games like that in the crypto world. I have seen kids with thousands of dollars worth of stuff, some spent money from parents, some actually grinded and earned it.
I think that is quite a tough thing and a bit rare, not that easy to see something like that actually being a good possible way to move forward. Don't get me wrong I think it is clear that we are going to see this be a bit different, but as long as they keep doing it, there will be good results for some, bad result for some.

Kids have higher interests on gadgets and the internet, it's now an obligation for parents to purchase ipads and phones for kids to bring down the distractions of requesting for their parent's phones to watch cartoons and play games. While at this, they tend to surf the net, and meet unusual contents, growing up this way, could introduce kids to the risks of crypto, and as well embrace them with mistakes and the multiple knowledge that follows with losing funds, talking about kids growing up, I mean when they're now at 14-16 years of age. Few nights ago I overheard young boys talking about how they lost money trading crypto, and from their conversation they're begining to learn their lessons, and knowing when and what to spend at a given time.

This is what I was thinking about the subject. Kids are so much more equipped and educated on so many subjects than us these days. For example, "AI" is something that is a very big trend, right? Some guy at 40's, unless he works on it every single day to train himself, will not be great at 55 years old, but a kid who is 10 years old right now, in the same span of 15 years, will be some AI expert at 25 years old, more than the 55 year old. Sometimes, when there is a new development, kids grow with it and be a lot better and that is what we are living today. I can't imagine myself being great with new tech, most of them, barely understood crypto, whereas these kids are using it daily to do something with it.

The thing about kids, is that they don't know how to take responsibilities. Especially when it comes to securing their money against malicious actors. Do you think kids are going to take due diligence to help secure their crypto against scammers or hackers? I don't think so. Kids will just use any wallet to send/receive crypto without caring about the risks that lurk within cyberspace. That's why developers should make wallets that are focused on security to avoid any undesired situations in the long run. User-friendliness is key, to make things easy to understand for the newcomer in crypto. Most Kids are digitally-native these days, so they shouldn't have a problem buying stuff with crypto. I hope more Kids join crypto for the benefit of the entire industry.

If parents can teach their kids using the money carefully, they will not waste the money. They will not just waste the money but they can ask to their parents to manage their money. Kids can use any wallet to send/receive wallet but they will not just spend it.
It needs parents to explain how to use crypto especially paying services to their kids so they will not abuse it. Having knowledge how to use the wallet and managing the funds will help kids to understand that they must have responsibilities over crypto.
Developer release user friendliness apps or better wallets but having knowledge will be necessary to users, no matter if they are kids or adults. If they can understand how to protecting the wallets and managing the money, they will not get any problems.

If you think people are are able to buy with crypto without 3rd party services in the future, why would it exclude kids? Cash doesn't exclude kids. And kids aren't some monolith where you can predict if they find something appealing. Some do and some don't, especially in this era, where there aren't that many shared collective experiences, because everyone can have their own thing and own niche interests. You couldn't predict that in the past either when there were fewer "things", if kids would adopt some music or product, because everyone had their own taste.

This depend on the kids background, if they are exposed to tech early and they have good orientation from their father or anyone; they can start using Bitcoin it possible because it has already become a means of payment for them as long as they have the Bitcoin in their possession and a wallet. We want kids that are very smart to embrace Bitcoin easily and as quick possible because the next coming generation will use Bitcoin more than we do I think.
