It is now 2026 and it has been 6 years since the pandemic hit us. If those of you remember, economy really dropped during then and its effects could still be felt years after. But now 6 years later, it seems like a lot of people have recovered and many economic pursuits have been booming. The pandemic hurt a lot of us but also brought in developments that stuck with us like WFH set up and increased delivery services. Now those are what drives the economy. Do you feel that you have recovered from the pandemic? If yes, how?

I guess my family and I did recover from it, and it was years ago. We didn't slack off. My wife and I worked hard and, as much as possible find ways to recover from it. I was really thankful to the government during those years. President Rodrigo Duterte, at that time, made a law named "Bayanihan to Heal as One (Unity to Heal as One)" that helped a lot with our mortgage payments. 4 months of unpaid mortgage will all be moved to the final payment.

For my family, it was a big thing. That room gave us a chance to look for more jobs and to invest in gadgets so we could work from home. Still, I don't like the effects of that pandemic on the kids. They got used to smartphones and playing inside. It became a different era of kids with a lack of socialization.

A lot has changed and continues to affect our lives
I will mention at least the things in my country (Brazil), but during the pandemic, the differences between the political left and right in my country intensified, never returning to normal

Even today, some jobs continue to involve working from home, which was unthinkable before, some jobs are doing 4 days at work and 1 in home office for example
Some schools also still do some home schooling once a week

The production of some items was severely affected and never returned to pre-pandemic prices

Bars and restaurants close earlier today than they did before the pandemic, and this is something that happened during the pandemic

Anyway, these are just a few things that I notice have changed due to the pandemic and have persisted to this day

If you are referring to the COVID-19, that yeah really was a disaster and caused the economy way backwards.
As for me, I may not say I have recovered from the pandemic or not but I can just say that I have moved on with my life in good form and I am also excelling in my financial obligations.
I don't just give chances to be overweighted with the pasts. Life already is a lesson but only those who are willing effortlessly conquers it barriers.

The good thing is that I have become familiar with crypto as a digital asset, so I have also been prepared for the worse just in case it strikes back in the future because I will always make sure I have a good portion of Bitcoin in my portfolio so that it does not seem like I am loosing it all again like then in the 2019 when I had no digital value.
But I can still tell it that I am recovered and I am almost feeling pleased for who I am today which I believe was a redirection of the chaos pandemic lead me.

During covid19 many people suffered and business crashes and many life's were lost, and it really affects so many countries economy, for me we need to celebrate covid19 as its no money, because some countries that's battling for economy downfall and inflation its because of the spread virus of covid19, so i think that covid19 caused us harm in different countries that it affected and families covid19 wiped their parents and siblings, remembering covid19 incidents, it makes me to remember my uncle we lost during covid, die after it came bqck from U.S.A and demise of my uncle is still causing pain to me till now..covid19 need to be celebrated as it's no more.

Even though I have recovered financially personally, there are still some problems. Even the effects of inflation are not leaving me. WFH has saved me from the financial losses of the pandemic, and even improved my financial situation. But I can still see the impact of the pandemic among the people around me, which is completely due to inflation. Many people in my area have overcome the pandemic but are still struggling with inflation. Maybe this problem will be solved if the political instability is removed.

You know the worst part of living in times of covid, is when you have no sufficient amount of funds to cater to your family's basic needs because the company you have been relying as your source of living stopped their operation for a while. This is what most of the sentiments I heard from the people. Fortunately, I never lost my job that time and even gained more incentives because the company I worked that time is really getting high demand.

The only problem I face that time is I'm risk with getting affected with the virus since I got to deal with different people everyday.

I first praise my Creator who kept me free from the terrible pandemic of Covid-19. I was not affected by the terrible pandemic of Covid-19 but I saw many people all over the world where many people died and the whole world was very badly affected economically. But today it has been 6 years, maybe in these six years the damage has been healed. But the most important thing is that we are still alive in this world and are free from the pandemic, we are alive because of which maybe we have been able to take control of our respective workplaces again. If we had died due to the pandemic, maybe we would not have been able to return to our workplaces. Anyway, I wish everyone good health, everyone can live healthy with their families.

I wouldn’t say that I have fully recovered from the pandemic, but I can see that many other people have. I see businesses reopening after being forced to close and I see people working again after being unemployed. Another thing that still affects me is the sharp rise in the cost of daily necessities. It has been several years now, yet there are still no real signs of prices coming down, they remain high.

Hard to say that we are fully recovered from COVID-19 pandemic. Although we passed these 3-4 years after pandemic, but everything has already changed. People never stopping for surviving. They still feels have a bright future. So they wants to achieve their delay dreams before it's too late.

I don't feel fully recovered from pandemic but I am still working on that and trying many things, even harder before pandemic. The biggest change that occurred post-Covid-19 in my country is, besides inflation where prices of goods no longer return to their previous levels, Isolation has caused a major shift in the economy, where the trend of shopping through marketplaces and social media became very popular and hot. Previously, people only shopped for items like clothes and light goods in online stores. But since Covid-19, the trend has changed, where almost everything is now available online. From groceries to carpentry tools, everything can be purchased on marketplaces. Currently, even cargo delivery services are available due to the high trend of online shopping and are not limited to items weighing under 5 kg. Now, online stores like Shopee and social media like TikTok have become a part of almost everyone's lives. Before Covid-19, only a small number of people, especially Gen Z and millennials, knew how to shop online.

Covid ended several years ago, and I don't think we're in the period of adapting to the pandemic anymore, as most people have moved on and their economies are starting to run smoothly as usual. Now many sectors have recovered and some have even developed rapidly, perhaps some individuals who lost their life partners (husbands) are still in the recovery process because they have to struggle alone to support themselves and their children, but overall the economy has returned to normal because companies and government installations have resumed normal activities.
I personally have completely forgotten about the pandemic because at that time it did not have much impact on my economic wheels. Even though I couldn't carry out my normal activities due to the government-imposed lockdown, I was still able to complete my work at home and try to earn additional income from my online business, and until now, that business is still going strong.

I agree for what you just said now during the Covid we face some many challenges lock down no movement in any  organization the economic was very bad because many people were suffering but that was understandable since prevention was always the priority back then, and again some people didn’t financially stable for the bad economy

But now it’s 6years back after then most of us recovered what we have been lost and some didn’t some people loose Their job the only real impact for me was not being to travel, which honestly made me feel sick we learn a lesson from that period.

My family has been affected negatively by the pandemic, but me personally, I haven't, and I will be forever grateful towards the signature campaign here in the forum because that sustained us in those months where we can't go to work because of the pandemic.

I will be a hypocrite if I will not emphasize how helpful signature campaign earnings during that time. Most of the workforce stopped, but not the campaigns here. It continued and it gave not only to me, but to majority of those who are participating a continuous income source, and because of that, we didn't get affected that much or at least our inflow of money didn't stop. I'm just happy that the pandemic is gone, and many recovered from it already. While we lost many lives as well, the best thing that we can do is to move on with our lives.

Also, COVID opened up the "work-from-home" setup that's why we are seeing people right now that prefer working from their home instead of going on-site to work. Overall, I guess we can safely say that we are back to normal already although the virus is still being monitored.

The pandemic that has gone since many years ago, it is what you are asking now. Just know that a thread like this would have even been discussed before on this forum. The pandemic is gone and I do not think this is right to be discussed about. All industries, companies, organizations that were affected have been opened back and they have grown back fully functional, even there have been more development.

It's true that Covid is long gone and most people don't think about it anymore. But when it comes to the impact of COVID, I think it's still having an effect today. Our world has not yet fully recovered to pre-pandemic levels. The most obvious consequence is that inflation continues to this day.

The Covid pandemic forced governments to print money and inject trillions of dollars into the economy to salvage the situation. As a consequence, inflation peaked in 2022 and reached its highest level in 40 years, and it remains quite high today. The challenges our economy is facing are partly a consequence of the pandemic.

Most of the employees who work outside the home are facing financial difficulties due to the lockdown during the pandemic. The prolonged unemployment of most people and financial difficulties affected the economies of most countries because everything was closed at that time. During the pandemic, I spent most of my time on technology. And most of the people did the same and if you look, you will see that the amount of TikTok or content creation has increased since the Covid period, before it was not so much or not so popular.

Life after COVID wasn't an easy one and I tell you it hit deep into the society because up till now so many individuals are finding it hard to recover from the huge losses they made during the pandemic. I can remember how so much investment made during that period was squandered all because people need to fix issues and tackle things on ground and it really left them empty. Of a truth some person's must've recovered from it and mostly some haven't but still it sure left a huge scar in the world that would be known for.

Economically, it is starting to grow again and we are quite healthy now, but in terms of state debt for handling covid, I think it has not been paid off considering the massive expenditures made for handling covid in many sectors that are dead and almost dead, some technology saves us from starting online services, crypto, Online markets and so on open up new opportunities and new entrepreneurs and new job desks have also emerged, for people who already have the ability and have competitiveness, it should now have recovered but those who cannot adapt to the current era do not seem to have found a gap to return to the glory days before this digital era hit.
