Recently My Meta Feed was with these USB Mining. They were promoting this by highlighting current Block rewrds 3 BTC.
So If I wants to own this only for a lottery purpose is it worth it. Or traditional lottery has themore chances of winning than this small bitcoin miners to hit a valid Block

USB miners are too weak, avoid them at all cost.

Facts that you need to know about Bitcoin "Lottery mining" like you called it.

Focus on the hashrate of the hardware, the higher the hashrate the better.
Even with higher hashrate you might never solve a block.
Cheap electricity will bring you good feeling.
If your electricity is expensive don't bother to solo mine.
Your small mini miner can die on you before you solve or block or never solve a block.
Have it in mind that solo mining Bitcoin can be a total waste of time even if your electricity is almost free.

I am glad that you understand that part of "Lottery Mining" which means you might never solve a single block, if you still want to proceed you should look for solo miners that have 5TH and counting. You can start with one of this bad boys and add more as time goes by.

It depends on hashrate and expected hashrate/difficulty growth. But with that USB miner (that have 75 MH/s speed), you definitely have more chance with traditional lottery (even if you refer to match 5 powerball that have odds 1 in 292 million).

USB miners are too weak, avoid them at all cost.

It's not fully true, GekkoScience used to release USB miner with much better hashrate (than one shown by OP). Their Compac F was frequently mentioned on this board, which have >300GH/s.

I'd try solo mining with a hashrate of 100 THash. There's no point in using equipment with less than 1 THash right now. You could try using an old ASIC with 10-14 THash, but you'll have to pay for electricity. There are no cheap lotteries in mining.

Well it's complex a bitaxe can do 1th. Mine does 850gh it is under clocked.

Every fucking block made i have a shot to hit it but it would take a really long time with average luck

1 th makes about 4 cents a day

A block is 280,000 dollars

So 7,000,000 days days at 4 cents is rounded math for a block that  is 20,000 years cost of 200 to buy it and 7 cents a day.


But if you mine bch  1500 dollars is the block and that mean 75000 days for a block or 200 years. At 200 for the bitaxe and 7 cents a day.

Hey We have several lottery miners we have even those small lucky miners like here : https://oneminers.com/collections/all/products/bitaxe-lucky-miner-1-2-th-s running.  (BTW bittaxe can be assembled by anybody with different names it is OK. It is just open source plat-forma common naming as it is best sounding. So if you know soldering you can solder one home.
And one day we were so happy it showed - block found. And nothing and also as we had about 20 running at the same shelf and made them working also on other coins the same story.
They show block found. (We celebrate - but just false alarm ) So there is very hard to prove if it works. The IT guys would tell you yes I checked hashrate I checked that and that . But in reality it might end up with stupid thing in the end and with error in settings and so. -- I want to note that it was not me setting them up but general IT enthusiasts . And there you usually are . So probability that you would win is very small and that you have to multiply with probability of correct settings and you get it.

But anyway it is nice to have it and it brings you closer to understanding of bitcoin. It is nice present and I give you hope . In the last year :
There was a block mined by smaller miner -- not sure who is it or if lottery miner. But it has such pattern that it could be one of the small solo miners as it is not part of any big pool.

If you want to get real money go get machines at home where you have super low rate for electricity or buy machines on hosting -- just make sure you are buying real machines at Oneminers - (The only hosting that did not cheated me - I use them for more than 2 years ). Or just hold BTC that you buy at Kraken (the only exchange that was not hacked and did not steal my money -  I use it for 10 years) and wait for price jump. No other way around basically those are only two sustainable options.  It is not casino, it is not Magic investment fund and magic AI or not AI bot that would turn your money in thousands of percents. It is long run.
