What I have for us today is very simple to answer, just to know our various take concerning gambling decisions and how we have gone far in gambling that we can't just do without playing in a day or two and in a week or within a month.

Here's the question.

If you're given a new job our your dream, money or the luxury you may require to enjoy life, all in a condition for you to quit gambling, what will you do?

This would be an ideal way. Earning money through hard work has a fun taste that you won't get from earning it easily. I will only choose a job because it is a sure way to earn. Many gamblers take the easy way to have a luxurious life and get addicted. They gamble for a long time and lose a lot of money. I am not that level of gambler. I gamble for fun and most of the time I prefer betting on sports. I have my professional duties as my main source of income.

When people get the opportunity to earn money very easily, they do not understand the real value of money. And similarly they consider gambling as a means of earning money very easily, and that is why when they achieve a few wins, they do not have the mentality to enjoy that win but they think that they will keep getting such wins, and thus they cannot enjoy the win but decide to play more with it which ultimately leads to loss. And besides gambling should never be taken too seriously, it will rarely bring you a win, but most of the time it will put you in a loss, and that is why we should maintain control here, it can never be a source of income, because its main point is uncertain completely depends on luck, and anything that depends on luck can never be a sure source of income.

I'd easily give it up for anything. OP is saying a job of my dreams or money and luxury, but I'd actually give it up for just a small part of it. Like if I were offered a better job than I have now, or a gift that I'd like. Let's say someone would offer me $20k to sign that I'd never gamble again, I'd most likely go for it.

I don't value gambling that much, so I'd happily trade it for something nice like some cash. I doubt that even if I were to gamble all my life I'd be able to make $20k in profit because most of the time we're up just a few k and all that by putting an effort. Now I'd get more with no effort, so why not?

Speaking honestly, I am not gambling to make much money from it to make myself comfortable and acquire all the luxuries. I am doing it just for entertainment, or you can say as a way to pass the time, but not as a diehard fan. However, if they offer me such things to quit gambling, then I will do it happily because I am not addicted to it. Maybe if I try, I will not make such things from gambling, but it gives me the opportunity, and I have to seize it and change my source of entertainment to something else.

Of course when you finally agree with the offer then the people that made the offer will keep a close eye on you, or they might decide to do it other ways but the thing is they will make sure that you don't go back to gambling. But I'm still wondering how they could make this happen now that we are exposed to online gambling, it is very hard to control one from not gambling this time unless you will keep following them every where they go which that's not going to be possible because there are some certain things that need to be done privately and during this process they might use that little time to gamble. So I don't think if anybody will think of making such offer.

The most rational option for your question is to stop gambling and enjoy the life. However, money, luxury, and a new job won't always guarantee you happiness – in fact, it's quite possible that you'll need to find something else, such as a hobby, to find enjoyment and peace of mind. Some wealthy people even gamble as a hobby that keeps them entertained – but they are rich people, not poor men who are trying their luck with gambling. If I were in that situation, I would choose to stop gambling and try to find something else that I enjoy.

In a situation whereby you take the offer in the sense that you agree not to gamble again, there must be something you have to bargain with just in case you return to gamble after taking the offer. If there's no bargain, there's a higher possibility that you might go back to gamble. Although, this is for someone that does not have discipline, because without discipline it will be very hard for you to keep to such deal (mostly if you have become an addict gambler), unless there's a close watch.

Since I am gambling for fun and to make profits, I will give uo gambling to live a god life. After all, we weren't born with gambling and if you don't have money in this life you will not be able to take care of your family needs. If I hit the jackpot, I will not gamble for a long time till I have invested the money.

I don't think I have to think too much or struggle too much to answer this. Because I consider gambling as just a small source of entertainment. If I say this, there are many other sources of entertainment in the world besides gambling that will provide me with enough and healthier entertainment.
So if my dream job has this condition that I cannot gamble, then I will accept it very easily because my career comes first to me than my hobby.

It can be or it cannot be, there can be more to that depending on who's giving that position. It won't be limited to political only.

Good point, i see no reason why anyone would not want to give up gambling to live a better life unless they are just addicted to the trauma that comes with it. most people even gamble to make money so if the option comes for them to stop gambling and also start making money from not doing so I'm sure lots of people would gladly take that offer. if I have what gives me thousands of dollars weekly see no point in gambling

If you think there are no more possibility to win easily in gambling then you should be that accepting any offer given to you to stop or quit gambling. What people do not really understand about gambling is that they games and winning are not defined and you can't tell when the wining should be that coming, but with hope and belief on the game you stakes after doing your thorough analysis you would get convinced that winning is sure without knowing that it may come as expected, why won't I accept any other good paying jobs out there just to leave gambling.

A very simple question with a smart answer I'm going to give, it I'm promised $100k to accept such request, I'll gladly accept it and stop gambling till eternity.

What will I do: I'll let the account manager to deposit $200 every week to my account until the $100k is reached, I don't know how many weeks that will take me but will definitely make me leave gambling comfortably while enjoying the money as long as I can

The answer is very simple: I would give up gambling if my life was full of luxury and prosperity. Why?
Because I can find other forms of entertainment that can replace gambling. There are many forms of entertainment available that are far more entertaining and enjoyable than gambling.

People actually go into gambling for many reasons and mainly it is because of money and some just to have some fun but most of these people who gamble just for fun are already rich people maybe who are addict or owners of gambling sites or companies who want to have fun and nothing else attached but when you are gambling because you want to make some profits from gambling  then you are just wasting your good time for nothing because that's when, whenever you gamble and lose, you will feel very hurt and probably persuaded to gamble again that can still lead to another lost of money again.

And this is why everyone should be careful and responsible, thinking about the end result of gambling, it will only lead to losses in the end, so spending too much time here will only cause financial losses. But when we learn to get out of it at the right time, its losses will always be under control, for those who have no limits to continue playing here, their losses always go out of control and there are huge financial losses, this is mainly the result of their wrong actions, so at least we have to keep limits here, even if we want to avoid   very big losses.
