n my country, it's simply impossible to participate in politics. Power has been usurped by a bloodthirsty dictator who doesn't allow anyone to manage the state or its resources. There were those who did decide to act as opposition and are now dead. So, it's not all that clear-cut.
Yes, there are quite promising young people, but by now they've all been forced out of the country. They're enemies now. They're even being hunted, not to mention they're all under criminal prosecution.
A similar situation exists in your country and ours those who possess genuine talent and capability are not granted sufficient freedom. It is evident that the political landscape is currently dominated by individuals who lack true merit relying instead on financial resources whereas young people often possess far superior knowledge and aptitude.
As for why these young people choose to leave on one hand, they feel they do not belong in a country with such an unhealthy political climate they seek a new environment that will strengthen them for the future. They realize that, for the time being they may not yet be ready to helm the political arena. However, their decision to step away temporarily is actually a strategic move to marshal their strength for future opportunities. I believe this is the right course of action to ensure they are better prepared to compete in subsequent elections. Even if this move is perceived as an escape, it allows them to avoid witnessing the lack of transparency that currently plagues the political landscape.
