I’m working on an article about crypto casinos that used to exist but aren’t around anymore. Many of you here have probably played on hundreds of casinos over the years, and I’d love your input.

You're right but it's been a long while since they ain't no more, having a flash back at some of those casinos would be so draining cause I'm pretty sure I can't recall sole of it that's I've made use of , but then there are tons of them and  some members in the forum I've mentioned and listed out some prominent ones back then of which I'm able to remember the one I've used before and I hope this halel out with the article you're about to create.

Well, it's been long I started gambling both in Casinos and normal bet and I must say that I can't remember any casinos or betting site that is not exist now because what I do is once I bet on this casino for some time probably 4-5 months and I discovered that there's a newly launched casinos or an existing casino that has a high odd with high bonus offer I might decide to leave the current one and go for that one. and when I moved on I don't usually go back to the previous one instead I will join new ones with this, I may not know if the ones I left earlier is still in existence or not.

Theres probably a lot of casino ended up being shut down but the one struck me most was Primedice. In its early form, back when it was one of the most talked about crypto casinos on Bitcointalk. I clearly remember how active it was, but over time the pressure from regulations, repeated DDoS attacks, and the shift in management direction slowly killed the vibe and accessibility for many players. It didn’t just vanish overnight, but you could feel why it was gone since the fun, trust, and community that made it famous just weren’t there anymore.

You only need to view the Gambling threads on this forum, for example starting from 2014 to 2017 to find hundreds of dead links and "Official ANN" threads for gambling sites that have been gone after only 6 months or so.

As for the well-known ones that actually lasted a while, YoloDice and the original SatoshiDice definitely come to mind.

Yolodice, I guess we can add that to the list as well, I remember once they said they are shutting down because they can't able to manage the business and also at that time many new casinos were popping up so probably high competition left them broke or not as profitable. I just read 777 is closed too, is that for real? Is that LL still active?

Yeah, this is one good service online slots, Yolodice. What separates them from other online casinos/dice websites is that they have an investment feature. A lot of forum members made some good money here just investing their money and reaping the rewards monthly or adding the profits to gain more.
The better side of Yolodice is that they haven't left yet until all the funds are withdrawn by the member and players. They gave a lot of time for them to clean the balance first before they made the exit. I won't forget about them and am still hoping they will come back in the future. Ant active any more, this statement is subjective because some casino may not be active here in the forum, but active outside what that means is that you can not mentioned being active and not includ which space you mean them being inactive, let talk about shutdown year then we can make a list of those known casinos that have closed their doors on customers already.

Why are they using Satoshi name on the domain, they literally tarnishing the image and reputation of this great name when they know they'll shutdown their operations after sometimes. It's because of the name that makes more customers into the platform when they know they are not ready to last longer in the casino industry.

For keyword purposes to easily to remember or attract players. Satoshi was very popular on dice site before as the founder of Bitcoin. Many scam services use satoshi name in the past and it doesn’t tarnish Satoshi name in that case since we all know that its owned by different entity.

Scam services is very popular back in the early adoption of Bitcoin. Even on my early involvement of Bitcoin I experienced scam on MLM investment and some casino because back then it’s pure trust basis on anonymous owner.

Satoshidice, Yolodice, Crypto-Games.com, Safedice. I have nostalgic memories about all of them, because they were part of the beginning of my journey in crypto universe. They were clean and simple websites which allowed users to invest on their bankroll, so we could make profit side by side with the house always they profited. Unfortunatelly, one by way they were closed down until fading away on the history of crypto industry.

For some reason, I thought the site had been down since autumn. I decided to double-check. I typed "Primedice Casino" into Google, and I actually liked the result it gave me.

By the way, the logo is correct.

But yeah, that's it. Primedice in its early years was one of the most memorable projects. Back then, BTC bets were tiny, but the volume was massive - players rolled the dice for thousands of rounds, competing for streaks and sharing martingale strategies live in chat.

Until now, I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Primedice has ceased operations after running for so many years in the crypto industry. I’m still not entirely sure what the main reason was behind their decision to stop.

It’s a different Betking. There’s a popular Betking.com casino but a local bookie on Nigeria while Dean Betking.io is still a scam or bankrupt.

He once plan to refund all the affected investors here probably to revive back his old casino but it failed since he still doesn’t have enough funds to cover all the investors.

What I remembered was Directbet.eu. I really liked the idea before that you are doing it like a P2P thing, that you just send it to a wallet, and it will send your winnings to your assigned wallet.
