Seen a lot of gamblers who stick to sports betting but don’t really believe they can win long term, and some of them think gambling is pure luck, yet they keep betting anyway. That honestly doesn’t make sense to me, it’s like wasting time without a clear goal imo.

The law of attraction eh? Hell yeah, I've risk it on parlays a lot coz I know something is coming lol but yeah just recently I've won an 8-leg parlay the downside is that I just stake a few, it's probably worth thousands of I only risks more. Moreover, I'm still doing bankroll management cause that's will keep you also here in the long term. It's possible, you should have just a mindset of a believer and probably be autistic about it.

truth is that not everyone will be successful bettors so if they say they don't believe they can win but keeps trying it only shows in my opinion lack of expectations whereby if they win they see it as a suprise knowing fully well that casino are always in profit and not anyone else, yet trying their luck will help go along way, if they become fortunate enough to win.

Unfortunately, I’ve never personally seen a gambler who is consistently profitable around my place. The only time I see people claiming profitable is on social media, where they constantly talk about winning and showing results. Meanwhile, the gamblers I know in real life often admit that they lose a lot of money, especially in sports betting.

I don’t believe that sports betting is purely based on luck. In my mind, it requires analysis, research and making better decisions over time. However, doing that properly also requires a significant amount of time and discipline which I don’t always have. Because of that, I often end up spending more time on slot games or dice gambling instead, since they are faster and require less analysis, even though I know they are more luck based.

True  talk. I support your point at the same time I want i us to know that what works for Mr A might not work for mr B. If we look person for what they do not in betting. In several occasions I have seen bettors who books game will little amount and wins while some loss and some who booked with hug amount some wins and loss. while some almost invest there whole life and still didn't win.
There is need for cautiousness. If any the end of many trials one finds out that gambling is not favouring him or her, its good to withdraw to avoid Lossing a fortune.

Henry Ford said it best, whether you think you can or you can't, you're right! Sports betting is surely more fun and entertaining than most other types of gambles i'd wager. The folks that know the game well and watch the stats and choose their gut picks are the ones who will make it long term if they stick with it. But it all comes down to consistency I guess. you won't always win but after long enough you really get the feel for it and you start getting good. There is definitely a lot of skill and intuition involved, its not just luck.

I agree with the OP, there is always room for growth, but we gain experience through successful bets, wins and losses. There are also times when people just bet blindly, hoping only for luck, but if you analyze how the right moves led to success, then, of course, this will only increase your chances of winning. I have seen profitable bettors so I believe that it is possible to be profitable in sports betting. It is even easier to achieve this in sports betting than casino that is entirely based on luck. You simply need to avoid greed, do your analysis well and have faith in your style of betting and in a matter of time the profits will start coming in. There are multiple options to select from in sports betting which is one advantage I see in it. Anyone who is careful can select game of high probability and continue to win consistently.

Better not mix the two, otherwise your analysis won’t really mean much. You can win just by luck even without analysis, that happens all the time.

Don't get them wrong, those who think gambling is just luck. There are many gamblers who are not lucky. They do their research and try their best to win at gambling but in the end they have to rely on luck. If there were a certain skill and strategy to win at gambling, many people would choose gambling for easy income as well as for entertainment.

As you said, many gamblers win consistently. There are many gamblers who win more than they lose. No matter how skilled someone is, they cannot increase their winnings.

It all depends on luck, because when we see a match between a strong team and a weak team, then we will always predict that the match will be won by the strong team. And actually here too I see a shift in meaning where big teams are often seen as strong teams. I can understand that, but in some situations we can't just look at the big name of a team, because what we have to look at is performance.
The point is that we must be prepared to lose, because gambling is very dependent on luck, even if we are very confident about a match, but what will determine is our luck.

Every gambler has a mindset of his own and how he sees every game he wants to bet, people keep positive mindset towards gambling and believe they are going to win but as we all know that gambling depends on luck of the gambler he might win or loose but that won't stop him from gambling, one keeps trying until he/she wins. I agree... having a winner's mentality helps a lot if you do npt sabotage yourself, follow a plan, and have experience, but it's no use entering the game with just optimism and thinking that's all you need to win. The real mathematical advantage is always with the house, so besides having a good mindset, you also need an edge: find value bets and fight hard to make them a reality.

I think if your goal is make a some profit, so the most sensible thing is start from the basics  that it is very difficult to beat house. From there, you start studying a lot and planning to reverse this realistic scenario for the majority and be the minority that manages to profit from it.

But if your goal is just an entertainment, so you need to study bankroll management, staking and basic concepts to lose less. If the goal is to have fun for longer and not destroy your finances... accept that you will be in the red in the long run and be happy (that last one is me).

For me, seeing the opportunities in sports betting, especially soccer, is just to add to the sensation of a fun match, several times I thought about how to get a consistent profit that pressured me to study in detail every probability in a match that would be bet on, and honestly it took up a lot of time and also my focus on other things, especially parlay betting, it made me dizzy with my own analysis.

But for those who succeed I think they have a different method of looking at the probability of a match that makes them have more probability of winning than just relying on luck after analysis and decisions are made.
