The logic is simple, the odds in slots are very low and if you keep betting a larger amount, you'll lose your bankroll in no time, within minutes. While sports betting specially popular individual and team sprts don't only have better odds, they also take time to give a result some hours to days. There are quicker sports betting like horse race but that's a much different sport.

About sports betting I think it is a mixture of both skills and luck, and with skill increasing the chance of winning.  If we are good in analysis, and data reading, we should have the confidence with our bet thus we put more money  to bet in a single match.

Judging from the replies, I think it's clear some people don't feel that way. I've seen so many discussions about predicting sports results, and most of them boil down to, yes, it's hard to judge accurately, but at least we have a 30% confidence or higher, depending on the game. Not to mention, every person has a unique "personality" as well. Who knows, maybe a rich guy also places higher bets on slots. Though I do think that's probably a minority.
