Bitok 0.3.19.2 release. That said, some components were adapted over time for very practical reasons. The primary concern I see is difficulty retargeting. With the original adjustment model, if a miner joins with hashpower that significantly exceeds the current network total, that miner will effectively capture nearly all block rewards until the next retarget. While block times may initially accelerate, the difficulty itself does not stabilize until the full adjustment window completes. In practice, this can translate into a prolonged period of disproportionate block control, which presents a real risk for a young network. For this reason, I would strongly recommend introducing a modern retargeting algorithm such as Dark Gravity Wave, with adjustments occurring over a much shorter window (for example, every 6 blocks). This preserves stability while allowing the network to respond quickly to sudden hash rate changes. Just offering perspective from the Mynta side — happy to discuss further if helpful. |

I'm only testing on Win because there are more beginners looking for solutions on Win,
while Lin users are more based.

================================================================================ I understand the desire to preserve the legacy behavior as closely as possible — there’s real value in that approach. That said, some components were adapted over time for very practical reasons. The primary concern I see is difficulty retargeting. With the original adjustment model, if a miner joins with hashpower that significantly exceeds the current network total, that miner will effectively capture nearly all block rewards until the next retarget. While block times may initially accelerate, the difficulty itself does not stabilize until the full adjustment window completes. In practice, this can translate into a prolonged period of disproportionate block control, which presents a real risk for a young network. For this reason, I would strongly recommend introducing a modern retargeting algorithm such as Dark Gravity Wave, with adjustments occurring over a much shorter window (for example, every 6 blocks). This preserves stability while allowing the network to respond quickly to sudden hash rate changes. Just offering perspective from the Mynta side — happy to discuss further if helpful. Thanks for the data. Early variance is normal, then difficulty steps up and stabilizes block times on its own. Missing pool blocks are just probability at this hash rate. This is what you expect on a young network. Quick adjustments can be gamed, but the old coarse retarget keeps things simple and predictable. |

Mynta has calculated what 72 MH/s represents in terms of actual mining hardware for YesPower:
At an average of 1,000 H/s per CPU → ~72,000 CPUs
At a generous 1,500 H/s per CPU → ~48,000 CPUs
Even assuming high-end server hardware at 2,500 H/s → ~28,800 CPUs
For a coin that launched yesterday on BitcoinTalk, Mynta finds it highly unusual that tens of thousands of CPU cores would be mining within 24 hours of announcement. For reference, Mynta's pool has attracted legitimate miners and currently represents approximately 1.3% of the network hashrate (~938 KH/s).
EDIT:
Mynta's pool currently represents approximately 0.03% of the network hashrate (~20 KH/s out of 72 MH/s).
This makes the concern even more stark - with only 20 KH/s from real miners, where is the other 71.98 MH/s coming from?

Why Bitok Has No Address Explorer
Bitok follows the original Bitcoin design from the Satoshi era.
Early Bitcoin was not built to track people, addresses, or balances globally. The software was wallet-centric. If you cared about an address, it meant you controlled the private key. The node tracked your coins, not everyone else’s.
There is no address index, no transaction index, and no global balance database by design. Addresses were never meant to be browsed or monitored. Many early outputs aren’t even addresses, they are raw public keys.
Modern block explorers require heavy indexing, script classification, and analytics infrastructure that simply didn’t exist at the time. Adding those would change the system’s behavior and assumptions.
Bitok preserves this model intentionally.
If you run a node, you see your wallet.
If you don’t own the key, the system does not track it for you.
This is not a limitation.
This is how Satoshi designed Bitcoin to work.
