My number one choive of exchange is Binance because it's the biggest and has low trading fee. However, you can only use an exchange that is in your country. I use two exchanges for my trade and so far, everything is going far. I have made profits and losses.
Most people prefer to make use of Binance exchange. I have account in different exchanges, and I have tried all of them out, but my best exchange is still Binance and KuCoin. I do make use of Bybit also, but I use bybit for P2P. Few years ago Binance and KuCoin exchange stopped P2P service in my country, so we cannot longer make use of P2P service thats why people do make use of Bybit for p2p. Binance and KuCoin is a reputable exchange which I will recommend to anyone that wants to trade. But because I said Binance and KuCoin is a reputable exchange doesn’t mean we should leave our coin on exchange.

I have used all of those that you've used. But there's an ongoing ban for all of these exchanges in my country because we've got local exchanges that the government forces us to use. And despite that our ISPs have banned these known exchanges, many of our countrymen still uses them through the use of VPN to bypass the ban that's been applied to these exchanges. They've enforced it through the telcos and anyone who visits these exchanges won't be able to access it if they won't bypass it. They even removed the apps of binance in the app/play store.

It seems there's monopoly happening in your country and they try to dictate on what exchange people should use. Maybe that decision has been influence by some parties and this is not good for Bitcoin and other crypto because if this situation really exist it will stop the total growth of this industry in your country.

Seems that they are favoring on the platform that can give them huge money and maybe this is the reason why that situation happens.

Binance is good exchange and I think that's huge loss for your countrymen for losing to use that option especially that for now they are the most reliable exchange to use.

Solid points, especially about liquidity. I’ve seen some exchanges with great features but zero volume, which makes it a nightmare to exit a position during a dump. One thing I’d add is to check the withdrawal fees for specific alts. Some platforms have low trading fees but charge a ton just to move your coins to a private wallet
