X's Grok AI sexual deepfakes

One of the concerns with generative AI is people using it to create sexual images of people without their consent and it is becoming true now at a very alarming rate. With AI being widely available through one of the world's biggest social media platform, X, a lot of countries have executed actions against the platforms with some still conducting investigations. Indonesia and Malaysia have blocked Grok AI. Several countries from Europe like Sweden and UK have expressed deep concerns.

The watchdog sought a response from xAI on the allegations against it and said the company responded before the deadline on Friday.

If the investigation finds that X has broken the law, it can be fined up to 18 million pounds or 10 per cent of its qualifying worldwide revenue, whichever is greater.

Hopefully this stops the use of AI to create fake images of women and children to fulfill sick sexual desires of others. This is not how AI should be used and people should be more responsible with using it. X will not crack down because of this unless Elon Musk continues to ignore these allegations and not do anything to prevent what is happening on his app.

Just my personal opinion, but I pretty much think it is impossible to regulate or prevent people to use Artificial intelligence to do those things at this point.
Artificial intelligence has become very widely available and there are even artificial intelligences which are distributed as free source on github so anyone can download and train them to do whatever they want.

Even if Twitter (X) removed their artificial intelligence off internet people will continue to make nudes with AI on other platforms like Telegram...

I guess this is about making harder people to sexually harass others, but fighting something widely available on internet seems to be a lost battler from the beginning in my opinion.

Here is what is difficult about this whole topic.

Sexual lewdness attempts to break the lives of people. But forcing them to not be free breaks their lives as well. So what do you do in a free society?

I think people should be free. But those who want to take away freedom should spend their time advertising about how lewdness, and also freedom suppression, are harming people. Then let people be free.

What will happen? Society will break down. Good people will move out. Lewd people will destroy themselves, because they made a big wrong choice.

X Grok AI is free to do what it is doing. X is free to let it be free. People are free to not use it. All is good if people don't depend on it.
