The group stage of ICC Under 19 World Cup 2026 has ended. The Super Six matches have started from today. Today there are two matches of Super Six Group 1. The first match started between Australia U19 vs South Africa U19, in this match South Africa U19 batted first and were all out for just 118 runs, which was not enough target, so Australia U19 will easily win this match. So far Australia U19 has scored 44 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 11 overs, they need only 75 runs to win.

On the other hand, in the match between West Indies U19 vs Ireland U19, West Indies U19 has been all out for 226 runs. Ireland needs to score 227 runs to win. Let's see which team can win this match.

Yeah, the super sixes stage is going to be very exciting as the top teams have managed to reach this stage and there haven't been any upsets in the group stages.

South Africa was in poor form throughout this tournament. And the margin of defeat against Australia Under-19s was also quite massive. Proteas managed to put up a total of only 118 runs, with Jorich Van Schalkwyk and Paul James being the top contributors. The captain (Muhammed Bulbulia) continued with his poor form, and so was the other opener Armaan Manack. Charles Lachmund has been the best bowler for the Aussies so far, and he picked 3 wickets in this match. 18-year old Aryan Sharma also picked up two wickets. He is also a very promising player for Australia.

England U19 vs Bangladesh U19

Today was the 3rd match of the Super Six of the ICC Under 19 World Cup 2026 between England U19 vs Bangladesh U19. In this match, I was disappointed to see the play of the Bangladesh U19 team, Bangladesh U19 won the toss and decided to bat but the Bangladesh U19 team could not survive till 50 overs, they were all out for just 136 runs. In fact, the target of 136 runs was not even a sufficient target for a T20 match, whereas it was an ODI match. What wrong decision did Bangladesh U19 make after winning the toss? In my opinion, it was a wrong decision. However, England U19 was able to chase down the target easily. England U19 won by a huge margin of 7 wickets and they are at number 1 in the points table.

This was not a good result for the Bangladesh Under-19s team. They lost of England by a big margin and didn't look comfortable throughout the game. I couldn't see any partnership developing while they were batting. They lost wickets throughout the innings.

When their opener Zawad Abrar was out quickly, the next two players Rifat Beg and Azizul Hakim tried to stable the game but soon they both got out too. This was a 50 over game but they never looked to play the full 50 overs. They could only bat 38 overs, and in those overs, they hardly managed to reach 136 runs. Not only did they score less but their run rate was also on the slow side.

Afghanistan U19 vs Sri Lanka U19

Today a surprising result from this 28th Match, Super Sixes, Group 1 Sri Lanka U19 stun Afghanistan U19 after having impressive performance in early games Afghanistan U19 were favourite for this game, but today their batting lineup does not work, and they bundled out on 193 runs.

While in chase Sri Lanka U19 also faced problems, but they ended as winner with now three teams have chance of going into semifinal but Afghanistan U19 is still favourite due to their NRR and last easy game against Ireland U19 Sri Lanka U19 have their last game against South Africa U19 and West Indies U19 will face Australia U19.

Today in another game England U19 secured their spot into last four with easy win against Bangladesh U19 tomorrow Pakistan U19 going to face New Zealand U19 and India U19 will play against Zimbabwe U19.

Afghanistan U19 vs Sri Lanka U19

Afghanistan u19 were considered a favorite side to won that vital match but minor collapse at several stage restrict them on low target, although Afghanistan bowling deliver a handsome but lack of numbers on total scorecard get them that defeat, however still thier chances to head into super 4 were still alive but they has to be more careful as any further miss calculation or mistake can lead them knocked out of the tournament.
I do believe on basis of both team recent performance Pakistan u19 will have dominance over black caps but let's wait and watch as unpredictability were on top at green shirts.

The captain (Muhammed Bulbulia) is in pathetic form, and he needs to be kicked out from the team first for South Africa to have any chance in this tournament. Some of the other batsmen (such as Armaan Manack) are also being retained in the playing XI despite poor form. And remember that they are being placed in a very strong group along with Australia, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. In order to qualify for the semi-finals they need to finish at top 2, and with the current form I don't think that is possible. They have two more matches remaining, but I am not expecting any miracles.

England U19 vs Bangladesh U19

Yesterday's match was a very tight match for Bangladesh U-19 team where the opponent was England U-19 team. But unfortunately, Bangladesh team could not qualify yesterday.
The Super Six consists of two matches where Bangladesh U-19 team has disqualified itself from qualifying after losing the first match. Bangladesh has another match later which is against Zimbabwe U-19 team i.e. this match is only an official match of Bangladesh because even if Bangladesh wins that day, they will not get any benefit but there is no problem even if they lose. Because Bangladesh has been eliminated.

At the moment Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre of the India Under-19s are shredding apart Zimbabwe Under-19s. After 8 overs, they are at 89/1 at a run rate of 11.14. I just have a feeling that this match will see a few world record scores. Remember that the record total in List A is 574/6 by Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh, which happened during Vijay Hazare Trophy, 2025-26. If Vaibhav goes like this, then India may end up somewhere around 500-600. BTW, who is with me to demand that Vaibhav and Abhishek Sharma open for India in T20Is and ODIs? Let's just kick out that useless Sanju Samson.

Hamza Zahoor got out early, but then it was good back by Sameer Minhas. Pakistan U19 lost against England U19 is going to be having big impact on their spot for semifinal because today Pakistan U19 beats New Zealand U19 now they have one match remaining against India U19 which is currently at top of Super Sixes Group B while England U19 at second spot.

If New Zealand U19 beats England U19 then Pakistan U19 beats India U19 then they have chance to join into top 4 otherwise it's clearly going into favor of India U19 and England U19 while New Zealand U19 is having not good form just because of this I am sure England is going to be having good chance of staying in for last four.

The next challenge for Pakistan as well as India is going to be an exciting one between the Pakistan and India teams, as both teams are going to face each other for the first time in this Under-19 World Cup.

Just a month and some days ago, both faced each other and Pakistan won that game with 191 runs. That was such an amazing game and I am hoping to see the same results but also on 14th December 2025, India beat Pakistan by 90 runs, so both teams are good to face each other. Its hard to predict the winner of this game.
