It is true that trading is not an easy thing, to achieve success in trading, it is very important to have the right knowledge as well as skills. As a newbie or someone who want to build long lasting wealth, trading should be the last thing you should ever think of, Becassine is proven that trading is high risk and similar to gambling which means, you will be losing more than you gain from trading.

You're totally correct and I agree with you, because investment has to do with long-term growth, and also investment is the process of buying an asset and leaving it for years, before making use of anything that comes out of it, sometimes it's lower but the profit is more predictable, when you're talking about trading,  always know that it's has to do with short time growth, this requires everyday buying and selling exchange in other to make profit, the more you sell the more you come across losses, so for me investment is the best but for only people that are patient.

People that go into full time trading doesn't know what they want to do with their resources. The other day, a friend of mine who is a trader lost a whooping sum of $100 on a trade. If he had invested that $100  in bitcoin as discretionary income over the long term,he wouldn't have experience the same emotional stress he felt on that day. Traders are going through emotional stress which they could have avoid if they were investors.

Not everyone will be interested to go into investment because some people do not have the patience to wait for the maturity of their investments before taking profit but nevertheless I do not support anyone who has dedicated himself to be a full time trader because that shit hurts so bad and can make you happy today and give you pains that will last till eternity if you experience a big loss. It is scary because of the high risk involved in trading. I do not like to be in a state of worry with money. Investment is safer than trading. Externally, people are more attracted to trading because of the possibility of making a profit. I were no exception but due to lack of experience I have lost a lot from trading. I will like to categorize their profitability into two ways. First is on the issue of short term advantage and profits which happens when you are trading. So unlike investment that takes a lot longer to make any form of profits and requires more of your patience and discipline, trading is more interested in your ability to always capitalize on the market trends, being able to monitor the performance of a particular asset, invest in such asset and being able to trade such funds within a short period of time to gain from the volatility of the market. You are able to do this through a spot trading option or perpetual trading option which is in fact another thing anyone who intends going into trading must properly understand so you don’t end jumping into futures trading and losing your entire asset to a trade.

The second way is the investment way, which is your ability to be able to patiently sink your funds into the digital asset such as bitcoin for a long period of time and nurture its growth over that period with a set goal to reach a certain financial target. It also has two basic options or approaches I know based on one’s objectives, which is the DCA approach by putting in funds gradually and nurturing the account as it grows which I still consider as the best and the lump sum where you just sink a huge money inside your portfolio and watch it grow over a long period of time maybe 5 years or 10 years.

There is clearly a huge difference in risk between trading and investing, trading is high risk, but long-term investment is much safer than trading. And we always have to make decisions by considering this risk, how much risk we are ready to take, how much our mental, financial and risk-taking capacity is, based on this, we have to make decisions to trade or invest, which is most suitable for us. We will definitely face failure in that which we do not have the ability to do, do not have the mental preparation, and do not have enough knowledge and skills, so we have to make decisions by considering these.

One has to know the kind of investment they intend to make and if it concerns Bitcoin investment, the use of air gapped or cold hardware wallet would suffice with probably a DCA strategy instead of lump sum. Although there could be risk of decline in price, the most benefit comes from a long term holding plan.

Investment is good and recommended for anyone who want to enter this crypto space. But will be better you focus on the ongoing accumulating of bitcoin and pay less attention to altcoins (shitcoins) because majority of them are scams, pump and dump projects. But bitcoin has proven Long time ago to be store of value with potential returns. Just stay consistent in accumulating bitcoin till you stash up good amount then you can hold for long term, in other to safe yourself Some mental stress.

Trading on the other hand is another way to make quick money in this crypto space, but not really recommend because it is very risky. In a twinkle of an eye all your money is gone and gone for ever. But if you must trade in this space make sure you learn trading very well, and be sure you are feat enough to trade before you embark on it. And make sure to always trade with the amount of money you can afford to loose to avoid chasing after your lost funds.
