It's becoming a norm that after a club sacks their coach they tend to play better than their previous games especially in the first game after which the coach was sacked. No, it is impossible for a game such as football to be scripted. When a new coach comes on board,  everything changes; the players' mindset, orientation and motivation changes greatly. The new coach has brought with him new strategies, the players have no excuse this time to underperform because they too must prove themselves that they are not the problem.

This has nothing to do with scripts or even luck. The new orientation and strategy by the new coach is what is influencing the new performance of the team.

Well, training and strategy is one thing that those coaches have differently, each of them with their own pattern and that can make the team ("same players" Like you said) to either win or lose in matches. After the coach is changed, another one would teach the players a different strategy and pattern that they can use to achieve success. The possibility of a top league matches to be scripted is very slim, except for the local leagues that have corrupt officials.

Prayers feel less watched, more free to express themselves, and motivated the more to show they aren't the issue. For start, its easier to replace the coach than the whole team, so for that reason clubs usually opt for the former. It doesn't guarantee results of course, but if things are not going well, something has to be done. Unfortunately, its been done far too foten for my taste and imho coaches should get more time to prove themselves.

Also, it is not a rule that teams start playing better after coach change, but it is not a surprise when they do due more factors. Coach change means that basically everyone is back at the same starting positions and have to prove themsleves all over again, which means giving your best.  Also, new coach usually changes the tactic, which can bring different results.

As football lovers who have been watching games and a new coach comes on board you won't expect the players to perform the same way they were performing before the old coach was sacked, every players would want to perform at it's best level so to be in the good boos of the new coach, though when some sets of players wants to get a coach sacked they under perform no matter the trainings and pet talks they are receiving in other to make sure he gets sacked.

Manchester United played a good football and was at their best today so they deserve that win against Manchester City and thier lose has given Arsenal an added advantage to top the league with 9points if only they win Nottingham Forest. It's impossible for football to be scripted because once a coach is changed the new one comes with another approach to the team so you wouldn't expect the same performance when a new coach hasn't arrived and every player will want to proof himself so to be in the new coach plan.

The chances of a football match been scripted is very low, simply because it is a crime against the FIFA rules for football clubs, and it comes with a higher penalty if found guilty of such crime. And however, when it comes to the sudden brilliant performance of a clue who was poorly performing under their old coach, then it's true that such poor performance is likely to be linked with lack of proper motivation amongst players in such clue, including the ability of the coach to place players at the wing through which they know how to play best. Because some players are good at playing a defensive football, and likewise others good at attack and some mid-field. So when a coach who understands the strength of each players comes into the club and puts them at the right wing in the game, then you are likely to see an excellent performance just as Manchester United played against City today.

As for that of Manchester united in today's game is truly an unpredictable one, winning in an unimaginable margin with same team that lost consistency since the starting of the season. Critically looking at your point on players performance after sacking there coaches i will say it's a good observation but i don't think most faults are from players because football is a good of instruction which you must obey no matter what and any attempt to violate the coaches technique it may lead to issues between the players and coach even if that technique is helpful in the game or not.

Some coaches don't give a damn about players sense of reasoning, they (coaches) don't even give a damn to put in considerations if the players opinions during laying formations of the match will be or help to the team or not. They would just want players to do as they instructs.

In a team where there is no friendliness like that of football, don't expect the players to also play fair in their matches.
You also never can tell if the formations of the coach was that a bad one for the team that has been of the bad lucks of the teams to perform better.

Football is not scripted, if other sporting events are scripted then i take an exception for football game. The reason why players perform better when a coach leaves the team could be that he didn't have a good relationship with his players which often leads to lack of zeal and teamwork. This shows that the behavior of a coach towards the players is very important because no matter how good and experience a coach is, it's the players who will compliment his efforts so that is just how football is works.
     In the case of Manchester United match against Manchester City today, it's a derby match and such games are mostly unpredictable except when it involves derby teams that one side is far stronger than the other. Manchester City and Manchester United rivalry didn't start today as sometimes even when Manchester City is in a great form, Manchester United finds a way to beat them when they meet but it's not the same for derby teams like Espanyol and Barcelona. I can confidently say that the efforts of Manchester United today were basically because it was a derby match, not really because of a change of coach.

To understand this, you have to first understand that the coach is the most important person in the team. The way they play, how determined the players are, is all down to the coach. How organised, united, disciplined, hungry the team plays is all down to the coach. Then there are the tactics of the coach. He has to make sure the players all understand the idea he has in his head and how to execute it.
So even if a coach has so many good players but cannot bring out the best in his players with both the tactics and other factors, the team does not play well.
If a new manager comes and gets everything right with the same players, the team plays well. It was not scripted. One manager just got it right, while the others couldn't.

Also, we can't use this one match to determine if the current interim manager of United is good or not. Winning your first match doesn't mean shit if you can't do it consistently. Football is a game that if you don’t know where the problem is, even if you have the whole best players in a team, they will still not be productive and you’ll really face a lot of challenges managing the team. Sometimes, it is the combination of player the coach makes sometimes that makes his team performs poorly even when he has a good squad depth.

So, it shouldn’t be a big of surprise to see teams doing better once immediately they get a new manager. One may also think that it is the players that are performing poorly just to see that they sack the coach and bring a new one since they’re not in good terms with the coach, although that may also be a valid point but in most cases, it is the manager not being able to put the best team together to prevail in games better.

Just because you see some positive change in a team after your coach got replaced, it does not necessarily mean there is something fishy or shady going on within the team or football in general. When a bad coach gets replaced the morale of the whole team increases and they start to play better and out-perform their previous matches (when they were under the administration of some bad toxic coach).

Not always every club sacks the coach and replaces him, the team's game gets better, some can be worse or there is no change at all, there are many factors that can affect the game for the better, one of which is motivation, the players may be motivated when the arrival of a new coach figure, or indeed the system applied by the coach is suitable, as well as Man Utd's victory today, and we also know it is a derby match.

Personally what I think is that people then to work harder when the person to be blamed is of the table, you can see this even in small work place, when a manger that is always taking the blame is no more the workers understand that if the fault is not on the manager they can be sacked or get in trouble on personal levels so they work harder that is exactly what happing in the football world. True this trend has been happening in different clubs for a while now and it looks like it's normal among clubs that when the coach is sacked and a new on is brought the team tends to play better in there early matches, for me I think it's maybe probably the players trying hard to suit into the new format of the the new coach so while doing that I feel like they put a whole lot of energy and efforts to deliver and this efforts makes the team play more than they usually do in the past. This is just my analysis and I might be wrong any ways.

The English Premier League is the biggest football league in the world. It is highly regulated, so I don't think matches can be preplanned.

When players are not comfortable with a coach, they might intentionally be under performaing. These players would give thier best immediately the coach is scaked. Another reason might be vbecause of change of tactics.

While not impossible for matches to be scripted, it would be a little unlikely because it's a team sport where fair play is promoted so much, if it was scripted it would take a single whistleblower to oust the organizers of such ordeal.

So if a league has accusations of match fixing, it would take a lot of organisation with the state also to not prosecute the match fixing. It can happen. For instance I am very confident that match fixing happens in Greece because the government and prosecutors probably benefit a lot from it. But I have more faith in larger countries where corruption isn't as common.

There are no scripts, bro. Players can lose at any time to their opponent, especially if the opponent gets the lead first. If this is all about Man U vs. Man City, there was no script. But, there is a possibility for a football match to be scripted, though it is a very low possibility in the top leagues.

Sometimes, a formation might actually be studied for weaknesses before a game, and once it is broken, it is always hard for the manager to come up with something different. I think that is the case with this particular game.

The only thing I might be concerned about is whether casinos and betting sites can actually influence a game.
