Can Bitcoin help the opposition in Iran?

If this support is strong enough, perhaps the opposition can win - first enabling the purchase of good communication equipment, but also because in poor countries, everybody can be bribed and bought. And the currency in Iran plummeted down to minuscule values, probably making Bitcoin (and other crypto, e.g. USDT) payments highly valuable in the country.

However, there's a problem: The internet has been shut down in Iran.

I'm not so sure this can go according to plan because the impact of the situation is so great. I'll take the example of a natural disaster in my area. Although the disaster radius isn't that large, many factors prevent us from donating cryptocurrency in that area even though we have usable Starlink access. Unless there's a dedicated group that can manage the donations and distribute the proceeds more easily to the planned points.

Internet isn't a major issue as long as Starlink service is available, even if not everyone in the area can access it. The focus is much faster if a small group is formed to handle donation issues and I don't think it is affiliated with the government because sometimes in such conditions their service is very slow as happened in my place when a disaster occurred.

Use a very discreet wallet address, one with no previous transactions. It can be sent to even just one person in Iran who uses bitcoin too. This is exactly what bitcoin was built for. Meant to be used for p2p transactions without any third parties and in which supply is fixed unlike fiat where it can collapse anytime. The state can still block off bitcoin but
it may be possible.

One thing I have observed with countries that has Bitcoin restrictions, they don't have good offers when they want to sell their Bitcoin. If you send Bitcoin to a person in Iran now and want to cashout the Bitcoin for Fiat, since the sellers are rare and not many, they give ridiculous price for it and now that their currency is experiencing  hyper inflation, the demand for foreign currency is going to be high, there will be limited liquidity for Bitcoin to fiat in other currencies.

If liquidity isn't issue, I ding think there is nothing Bitcoin can't do for iran. I don't know how exposed Islamic state like Iran is with Bitcoin but I'm sure if they want to use Bitcoin for their day to day business, they can use Bitcoin to buy and sell for short term. Even China that has banned Bitcoin still has alot of buyers and sellers that are interest in Bitcoin but the merchants are low, you can't move liquidity from one place to another but since Iran is undergoing crisis, they may be better.

Very right, Iran's situation is bad as the economy are struggling, which are affecting the people there in one way or the other, especially the internet shutdown just as you have said earlier but these can be adjusted by the use of Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is the only thing that can help people in time of war like this, that is why they use do all what it takes to restore crypto access, because it will help them to be able to do transactions.

Iran should be thankful to Allah, since wallets can't be restricted in their region unless their government chooses to. And of course, the transaction can be tracked, but can't be seized by a third party.

No doubt, bitcoin will surely serve as a means for transactions, helping the Iranian government get the resources to save their society, at the same time, build armaments and nukes to protect their country.
