If you get scammed a tiny/test amount, your first instinct might be to keep quiet so as to not appear gullible. This is a mistake, as it allows them to continue to degrade the community. But don't be dissuaded by the reaction to some of these accusations - you can send a private message to a trusted member you see calling out scams. If you read something, say something.
You know in truth, everyone or at least majority of the users out here on the forum is always an idealist on how to an expert on these things and are always out here providing solutions based on experience and at times, what we’ve know to happen around us locally or globally.
Well guess what, scams are often patterned to work on a person to person base. While the idea is to get money off you, you might find scammers always adjusting to just the ideas you are likely to comply with once you start engaging them. Next thing you know, you’ll start to question your intuitions and that could get us scammed.
Afterwards, you find users here not having to get loud about it because, we were the advisers and don’t want to look vulnerable. Well guess what, that’s how scams thrive. Another scheme not leaked and another scheme that gets to find a new victim. It’s actually strength to express our flaws in this way and to teach form them.
