I created a thread recently about two users, Widca5472 and Vdfre27, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5572102

At the moment, it seems the two posts where the particular site was mentioned have already been deleted by a mod, I guess.
But Vdfre27 still has his post quoted by two people on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5547481 and anyone could possibly click on it.

Now, here is where I come up with this suggestion:
How about we have a short tag beside the quote that was deleted, such as "DELETED BY MOD", only when a post was already quoted by other users before it was deleted by a mod.

Like this:

Anyone who sees this should obviously know a post was deleted under a thread for a reason and should be disregarded. For the likes of self-moderated threads, there is no need for any message, as quoting already covers it.

that would be too much work as a mod, maybe a bot or something like that would help?

I really don't think so. Users who made posts with malicious links are considered as threats in the forum, and according to the forum rules, these accounts will be banned permanently. With such users and their malicious posts, forum moderators will do the easiest moderation by nuking these users. They will not waste time to delete all posts of such users...
I don't think you understood what I was trying to say. If I quote this post of yours and share it somewhere else and the admins ban/nuke you, my quote remains. It's my quote and my post, so nothing will happen to it. That quote could contain a malicious link (the reason why you were banned) that remains visible on the forum even after you are gone.

and malicious links can be add to forum blacklists.
If mixer links can be blacklisted, and can not displayed, malicious links can be treated very similarly.
They can, but I am sure that theymos does this rarely and only in special cases like when mixers were banned. For sure he doesn't update such a blacklist every day by adding new links and keywords to it.

How does this work? Like, you can't post any mixer URLs or keywords because they automatically get blocked, or do they just alert the mods?

Anyhow it works, I think in the case of malware and phishing URLs, it could be different. There are a lot of URLs, and different ones will keep popping up every day with no keywords that can be used to detect them. On a second thought, if any of them are detected and probably added to blocked URLs, then it should automatically affect every post that quoted it. Yet, it has to be post-implementation (after), not pre-post implementation.

Your suggestion is a good suggestion but it won’t be easy especially if mod are to do this manually however, if it can be done technically then it’ should be considered but if it can’t then it should not be considered because it’s a very task for mod.
And again a deleted post those not mean it’s a useless post there are a lot of reasons why a post is deleted by mod and so if a deleted post has already been quoted by someone and is showing like always I see nothing wrong with it if you click on the delete post and you don’t see it then you know it has already been deleted and you move on.
