I doubt they’ll become scarce because there are still plenty of major casinos willing to cater to players. Even in our country, you can see how hotel casinos work well as a pair, since both sides earn from it. Gamblers also tend to prefer physical casinos because of the higher limits and better sense of security, unlike online gambling where scams are more common. For bettors who usually play $100 or less, which is probably most of us, online gambling makes more sense. But for high rollers, physical casinos are still the preferred option.

Yes, there are gamblers that prefer the physical ones than the online. They're the type of gamblers that like more to pay for that premium then. But to me, I can enjoy the online and it doesn't require me to go to the physical location. If someone asks me to go there and that might be the only time that I'd go to a local casino just to meet and have fun. The additional cost is what we don't like to pay for but, it's understandable if it becomes scarce and there's not that much physical ones anymore ever found in your area.

However, what I mean by operational flexibility constraints is that offline casinos, whether they like it or not, must comply with regulations wherever they are physically located. And they may have to lobby various officials for "support" and "protection" to ensure your business runs smoothly.

Online casinos, on the other hand, can change licensing and server bases more easily and quickly when regulations begin to demand things that are deemed disruptive to business.

Even if online casinos are rampant nowadays, physical casinos are still doing fine (this is what I believe). I think, online casinos target market are the low to middle class people while the higher or upper class probably prefer physical casinos more. I've seen more rich people going to physical casinos while ordinary people are into online casinos. So I don't think physical casinos are really that affected with the surge of online casinos.

But if ever that will happen, I think the rich will be willing to pay more for the experience of physical casinos again. It could be one of the things to show off your status—being able to experience physical casinos. But for me, I won't. Because the physical casinos will never be obsolete, as long as they can retain their customers, or as long as they continue to innovate with the times. There is absolutely no reason why casinos won't suffer the same fate as many other physical presence establishments. Nobody can claim with any certainty that this will never happen, it is impossible to guarantee it based on the data that we have so far. It would not be the first case where physical establishments died out due to innovations. Do people forget that a future is coming where you will be able to recreate the environment of a physical casino using VR at home? Generations are switching, many people of the younger generation are even afraid of entering such places for any number of reason -- they are comfortable at home and with technology. Things are going to get worse with time. None of this, however, provides certainty for the other scenario. It does not provide us with a timeline under which this happen or certainty regarding the magnitude. It is entirely possible that physical casinos never entirely go away, they just may decrease in number of time.
