so since the year 2026 i have had a repeated experience and it is beginning to bother me, that is why i have decided to bring it here to know if there is any gambler like me who ahs Got similar experience this year of for the longest of times, let us see if there is any possible solution to it.

Since this year, i have lost games by a single cut, so i will make picks and combine several game and at the end of the day, i loose the game by a single game not going as expected, so more like i have had cut 1 all through this year. i am yet to win a single game and not because all my predictions are wrong but because i most often have a single game that ends up messing up the rest of the other games. That is the challenge of a gambler not only you that is facing the challenge, (the name remain it caught me one) but is encouraging if only one prediction is cutting off your game, just have it in mind that one day you will smile because you are good in predicting a game.

I know about  this option and maybe it's just me not wanting to settle for a lower amount, so I try so hard not to explore that option, some persons will want to call it greed but before that, remember I stick to a particular budget and so sometimes, my stake are usually very small and so a cut 1 option will drastically reduce the amount so bad it may not worth the risk.

That is gambling for you for you sometimes it is not as if you are gambling blindly but just one game can just just end everything,  this why they say gambling cant be predicted and no matter how you think you arebso good in betting it is not guarantee to win, you can still lose your game.

 Because of how gambling is so much unpredictable thst is why it is always advisable for gamblers to gamble with amount that they can afford to lose, because when you think you are so good to win, you can even lose it at last.

You're doing a parlay bet and 1 failed match messes up the other matches? That's a risky parlay bet where 1 losing match can be frustrating.
You bet there is a total over/under? Or 1X2?
What about single bets do you think this is better than parlay? With single bets I believe you can win some bets and lose some, the scenario is 10/7 wins.

Honestly,near luck syndrome is a common gambling experience amongst gamblers.The term near luck syndrome is tricky, and if you continue receiving such signs,it's a sign for you to back off.Sometimes, people misunderstands the signs to be heading positive but it isn't.Its dangerous afterwards if you're not careful.If there's a remedy as that, then no gambler would lose.The only remedy here is self control and quitting.

Sometimes losing streaks can also be disguised as near luck syndromes, a situation whereby every round just makes you feel more closer and closer to winning but you just never get to that desired win. And the more you keep going hoping the next one would be a win, the more trapped you get in a loop of win chasing, and just like you said, the best thing to do at this point would be to take a break because most of the times, this is usually a sign that it’s not just your day and persistence would land you in some serious troubles.

@OP if you are frustrated or disappointed with your gambling result recently, why not take a break first?  if you are betting on a parlay and is always messed up by a single game, then why not avoid betting on a parlay for a while and start single-match betting?  Once your frustration and disappointments are gone, then you can start going back to parlay betting.

It is really nice to have a break from a frustrating gambling session.  It will not only refresh your mind, but it will also make you save a fund that can give you more bankroll in future gambling engagements.

How many games are you usually including in your parlays? The more games you have, the lower chance you have of winning. That's why you start seeing the odds go to 100x + when you have 10 or more games. Might wanna start playing 2-3 teams and try booking a few wins.

The profits from cut 1 are usually small, i feel cheated after staking my money and considering what i get in return after the risk is actually not fair. Another reason why i don't like using the cut 1 is that it doesn't allow you to take early cashout, once you've staked the amount, the game is allowed to play through, either you win or lose it, no partial profits can be taken.

If you are consistent in single games, continue to do that.

Because not all who bet with those kind of games are winning. I even experienced losing a week or consecutive times in a row with single bets.

But don't you try to get into parlay because that's going to make your mood even more bad when you have been consistently losing.

You could also try to analyze whether this recurring failure is due to chance or if there's something common to your losses, like a specific sport or a particular bet. What I can say to this is that, you’ve tried a particular approach for a long time and it’s still giving you the same result, try changing you approach, if your multiple games often end up cut one, then reduce it on your next approach and stake as usual and see if there’ll be a difference, beside this year hasn’t gone far we’re still in the early months of the year. Sometimes greeds as well doesn’t let you do your analysis before betting a game, rather it makes you add more parley to your games and along the line one of them will end up ruining every other one.
Casino games relies on luck, but then, you don’t stake so much because your chances of winning will reduce with those multiple games. If you’ve tried the single or double game approach and you’re still getting the same experience, then I’ll advice you go on a break, take sometime off the casino entirely to work on yourself. Maybe there’s slight symptoms of desperation, who knows?

This is very similar with chasing losses, only thing about near misses, is it gives them more motivation to continue betting as the feeling is close to being lucky. When a person thinks it's his lucky day, this almost includes getting near misses all the time, so, they don't think being "almost" lucky to win that one or two bets is gonna hurt them in the long run, if things kept going that way. That scenario is going to end up chasing some losses.
Therefore, there's only one remedy for that situation, and that is to stop when you hit your gambling budget threshold.

That is a well known fact for most people taking into consideration probabilities before they bet. I personally when used to play sport betting always in these last years asked AI about it for the different probabilities or percentages to win. I learned a good thing from such information from AI which is one game has the highest chance to win, 2 games a bit smaller and 3 a bit smaller. Anything from 4 games and more in a parlay ticket and you are punishing yourself to losing most tickets with 4 or more games in them. I would listen to this as now when I bet I only bet on single bets or a maximum of a 2 games in my parlays, the more you go away from these numbers the more chances increase to lose your bets.
