Having two identities for yourself is an example of a lack of integrity.

Don't believe everything you hear on social media and even if what somebody is saying is true you shouldn't be in a hurry to assume that it is who they are in real life. We all have conscience and it means that by nature deep down we know what is good and bad, example is criminals can lecture people that crime is bad yet they are criminals. The trust can lead you to want to have personal dealings with them and they will show their real characters and scam you. Politicians are the same they will give the electorates fake promises which they know within themselves that they cannot fulfill. Don't trust strangers and those that you don't have personal relationship with because there are lots of wolves in sheep clothing waiting to gain your trust before they strike you.

I don't think that it's lack of integrity when someone has an alter ego on the internet while they have a different life in person. And that's why people lie in social media to hide the reality of what they're facing in person. For those who have been doing that and they can't accept the reality or they're trying to skip the reality, the internet has become their playground and that's how they're enjoying life. But not all are the same, there are people who are real in both ends and that's why we can't judge anyone from what we see and read shortly about them.

the problem with that is, the internet can be a dangerous place. on the one hand, an identity that is doxxed is verifiable and builds some level of trust. on the other hand, it can create a danger for individuals as malicious actors still people's personal data to scam.
