It's not something surprising actually... I understand that it felt that way cause the money wont get returned to its owner. And of course, we know that would be a hard thing to do as well. But this aint just happening with crypto assets they seized. It happens on other things they also get from something illegal.

Same with other seized money from illegal activities like gambling, drugs, or even from criminals who got caught, the money they collected ends up on their possession. Probably in their own pockets... I don't know... Cause you can't even trust the government officials anymore. They can say that the funds goes to the national treasury of government budget, but can we really sure about that? Or if it is really being used properly? Sometimes the government is just like a bigger criminal but the only different is they can claim it's legal as they are the "government".

They will not announce the wallet that they confiscated that amount of money, so they can reduce or increase what they have got since it was confiscated and came from illegal sources. It is easier for them to hide it, because no one will come after the money. They can say that this is the only amount they got, but the truth is that they saved more than that for themselves. And it is true what you said that happens even with small amounts and small people, so the loss is bigger the higher the position, especially since the money does not come from legal sources.

yep. since it's from illegal activity, they can't and won't give it back. they gotta make it clean first before it circulates. But since they have the authority and access to hold such huge amount of crypto assets, they're definitely doing some magic tricks behind everyone. Just like what you've said, before they tell the public the amount they seized, it was probably already reduced. And some of those assets were already on their own wallet. With such amount of crypto assets, it's very tempting to them... That's why you won't be surprised anymore if these people and officials are living in excessive luxurious lifestyle.

Thats the reality on the world we are living on, on which to those who do have the power will definitely be able to control everything or anything they do want. Doesnt matter if its obviously daylight robbery but we citizens or people around wont be able to do something. Whom would be  that going against on the actions that they have done? For sure this would be that talked for sometime then it would be totally forgotten forever and to those officials on the top of the pyramid would be having that their own allocation that would directly goes into their wallet. Actually there's nothing shocking or surprising with these things anymore. This is how shit this world we do live on and corruption or misused of funds is never been a new thing. No one would benefit out but rather they are the ones will be living out their very best using up these funds.

This is not justice, not even close.

They seized stolen funds successfully, not just this one but many.
No bad actors gotten arrested and sentenced.
The real holders don't get the funds back.

Tell me how this is not a robbing method in a robinhood outfits by these governments.

Yeah nah, it’s wild.
They flex “we seized the funds,” but nobody gets arrested, nobody made whole.
Real users stay wrecked, govs keep the bag.
That’s not justice — that’s legalized yoinking in a Robin Hood cosplay.
Same robbery, fancier uniform.

I understand why it may seem unfair but seizures are typically only the opening of a long process of law. Officials tend to detain the money until they can establish who the actual victims are and that can be very time consuming. By doing nothing criminals would merely continue to hold onto the stolen assets and hence seizure is designed to prevent additional harm. What is more important is transparency and ensuring that victims are eventually compensated. Deliberate justice is aggravating yet it is usually preferable to no action whatsoever.
