Would you be okay with that, or is that already too much?
I am not a VIP member on any gambling site because I am gambling with small amount of money, so I d not know if they will recognize VIP like this but I am not okay with it at all because I will only see it as spam. The email they are sending is better and also it should not be too frequent which I might see annoying.

I doubt anyone wants their privacy invaded by having someone constantly annoy them. Just imagine being in an important meeting and a casino call you just for a bonus lol. I can’t imagine if they have multiple promos they’ll also call me multiple times or multiple casinos calling me in a span of just an hour.
Would you be okay with that, or is that already too much?

If they’re using AI to make those calls, then they’re obviously not paying real agents anymore, which works in their favor.
It’s basically spam to push sign-ups and encourage gamblers to play more.

This should really be something regulators look into, especially since a lot of the time these calls happen without our consent, and our numbers somehow get shared. Even with legit agents, not AI, these people usually aren’t direct employees of the company, so the question is, how did they even get our numbers in the first place?

Most exchanges and banking app frequently send messages to customers on betting voucher even though it does not look look like an ethical thing to do. if casino also do the same thing it will not make any serious difference but at the same time, it is part of the issue that is associated with the lack of privacy and customer respect in this digital era. you register your mail with a platform and the next thing you see is frequent messages popping up here and there which mostly encourage serious spending in the context of gambling.

if you are someone that is easily triggered by sweet and enticing promises and allow yourself to give in to them, you are doomed to get destroyed by the frequent enticing things that comes from the end of casinos, exchanges and most banking apps.

But are there actually users who have experienced this already? I mean, maybe we’re just letting our imagination run a bit too far here because we’ve seen it happen in other industries, so we assume it could also happen in gambling.

Every industry has different regulations, and I don’t think casinos would just randomly call people to push gambling like that. If they call about lending money or credit, that’s one thing, but this feels different. I don’t like the idea of it happening, of course, but at the same time I’m not really convinced yet since I haven’t heard of this actually happening in real life.

Casinos have options for phone numbers or email, I always prefer using emails when doing my registration, so I guess that will keep me safe from receiving such calls in the future should casinos starts doing that. But I don't even see casinos doing that, if they start doing that it will be very annoying, because I know how annoying it is to receive those random calls from those loan apps.

I'm not comfortable receiving calls from casinos about promotions; calls should come from contacts and urgent matters, not from promotions.
You only opt to receive such calls if you spend hours in casinos and like to receive promos.
Just imagine you are in the middle of important work, and you receive promotions, and you just take a vacation after coming from losses.
There should be an opt-out, and it's not mandatory to receive such calls.

AI has really reduce customers service work and things related to this like the one on this topic. The first that I noticed are the same calls about someone that is about to default a loan or that his loan is on default already. The second is about encouraging customers that pay the loan fast to borrow again with higher amount available. They will send the same information through AI to people through calls.

It has one through a fintech in my country, they will keep disturbing you to borrow money. If you block them, they will call you later with another number with their AI speaking. But I think this has stopped now.

Such calls can be blocked. I don't answer unknown numbers at all. Because it's always either scammers or the imposition of services. Intrusive advertising, by the way, works against the seller...
I’d really like to have something on my phone where unknown numbers that aren’t in my contacts can’t call me at all. I’m not sure if this feature already exists on some phones, but if it does, maybe you can share what phone you’re using. I might actually get one if you can confirm this is possible.

Mobile operators offer such a service, and for free in the basic version (the AI will answer, can record the call). There is such a service from banks, their AI is smarter, it can imitate all kinds of voices and even mock scammers. I don't know if you have similar services in your country. All this is within the framework of the fight against fraud that has engulfed Russia like a tsunami. The funny thing is that the banks and mobile operators themselves bred these scammers, but the state did not react in any way.

Well, any phone can simply block unfamiliar calls - you need to whitelist phone numbers. Only your contacts will be able to call you this way.

I think this is a waste of time. I'm not sure casinos will utilize call-to-action promotions; they generally require a unique token link or bonus code that needs to be activated. As a marketing advisor, I wouldn't recommend this approach. After all, casinos prefer to engage users visually, and they're even willing to pay a premium for it. Switching to audio marketing represents a decrease in the quality of exposure.

Just a random thought.
Loan apps now use AI calls to remind you about dues, and honestly it’s annoying.

Would you be okay with that, or is that already too much?
It would feel like crossing a line for me, because a casino calling your phone is way more intrusive than an email or in app notification. Promos should be something you choose to see, not something pushed into your personal space with calls. Once it starts feeling like pressure instead of entertainment, it stops being fun and starts being uncomfortable.

They can just send emails to users who actually registered, since nowadays an email address is the basic requirement when creating an account. Casinos that don’t even require that are the ones I don’t really trust.

Sending emails is also much easier on their side because it doesn’t require manpower, and AI can still make mistakes. People get annoyed easily, and imagine if they end up calling VIP players, that alone could make them lose interest in gambling. That’s probably why this approach wouldn’t really work in gambling, and maybe that’s also the reason we’re not actually seeing it happen.

Text or SMS could be the closest thing for me, but calling you for promotions or bonuses? That is a no-no for me and I think for most gamblers. We don't want to be bothered by them, specially if you are sort of busy during the calls as it can irritate us.

And then on the contrary, it might backfired for that casinos as we might not play on them anymore because we hate being cold call by them. So it' better to just received any promotions by emails or just by text messages.

Would you be okay with that, or is that already too much?
Actually that's one way to use AI efficiently and it's only annoying if it's too much and if you are receiving it without subscribing to it. I think it's just like a normal bot or automated system, right? If it's email I have no problem with it since I set up an email specifically for gambling but if it's through phone or calling, that's really a different kind. Personally I don't want receiving a call from unknown number, what more from a gambling site that would try to disturb you just to tell about their new promotion or any updates about their platform, I think emails and text messages is okay as long as they ask for permission but for calling, personally, I'm against and it's too much.

Never!!, I'll stop using the casino immediately and blacklist their numbers.

Email notifications are enough, worst case scenario sending texts are pardonable, but for calls, it's a very big NO from me. It's just too much, such calls are for defaulters which loan apps do to recover their money.

If a casino adopts it as a marketing strategy, then they adopted a very terrible one.

It's a big disturbance to call people for promos or bonuses, it speaks desperation and can be an indication of a casino at the verge of a collapse. It's best to withdraw from such a casino

If calls are made every day, like the promotional emails they send, of course, it would be annoying. It could be very uncomfortable for the customers. They can use messages or emails for specific promotions, but they need to consider the timing and events being held. Not doing it every day will definitely prevent making customers uncomfortable.

This would depend on how frequent they would call regarding these promotions.

What makes AI-generated calls annoying is their repetitiveness to the point that they would continuously call you with the same script. If gambling companies would opt to utilize AI-generated calls for their promotions, then I guess that would be fine for as long as it would be not that intrusive.

While this may be the case, gambling companies should also understand that using AI-generated calls should NOT be utilized on the concerns of the players. Meaning, customer representative should always be communicated with a live agent instead of an AI-generated call who would put you on an endless cycle before you actually talk to a live person.

Casinos will not make use of the contacts in sending us messages or information about their promotional offers, what they mostly use is the email address we used for registration and this is also possible when we accept to receives news and offers from their promotional service, they may be sending us, but when we fail to allow for that, i don't think there could be any reason for them to have one.

I rarely answer calls on my phone, so it's already too much for me when I even overlook the promotions they send out through email.

On second thought, maybe i'd try it out once and see if it's worth turning on, but if they call nonstop like those random callers, then i'd probably put my phone on do not disturb.

I've seen casinos use AI as an alternative live support, so having them make calls in the future is not that far off.

Just a random thought.
Loan apps now use AI calls to remind you about dues, and honestly it’s annoying.

Since casinos also ask for your phone number during verification, what if they start doing the same thing, calling you about promos or bonuses?

Would you be okay with that, or is that already too much?
This is just too much and a very wrong promotion activity to be practiced by any casino, it would disturb lots of customers and they would resent their services. Disturbance is what you'll always want to limit drastically when reaching out to clients and that's why email notifications have unsubscribe buttons.

Any casino that adopts this strategy has only opened a new impersonation business for scammers. It wouldn't be long before the results start manifesting.
