Tyson Fury unretires (again) and will fight Arslanbek Makhmudov on 11th April

Anyone who's taking Tyson fury retirement is serious is just wasting their time. I fell for it this time around. When Tyson announced his retirement after his second loss to Usyk, I believed he was never going to come out of his retirement as there was nothing else left for him. He was defeated twice by the champion and I to me he should have just retired and never come back. When someone told me that Tyson was going to come out of retirement, I argued that he won't, but here we are. I wish him luck in his next fight.

Why do i see this as a fixed match and nothing more? Because Tyson Fury has quite made his mark in the boxing world with multiple championship and an impressive record, so why come back from retirement after such achievements, if not because of money? It's now beyond entertainment because there have being a couple of athletes from different field of sport who also did the same, so now it's beginning to look like a norm for most professional athletes.

Instead, Fury has signed a contract to fight Arslanbek Makhmudov. Makhmudow is a Russian boxer based in Canada with an official record of 21-2. 19 of his wins were by KO.
The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Arslanbek Makhmudov is a former WBA Intercontinental champion. He has a good record, but that record doesn't reflect invincibility. He has a worse losing, badly beaten and going down three times before succumbing to body shots.
This is definitely a walk in the park for Tyson Fury.

It's a good choice of opponent, good record, former champion, but with a lot of flaws that can easily be exploited, especially with the likes of Tyson Fury.

It won't be the long-awaited bout between Fury and Anthony Joshua, as AJ is not thinking about fighting anytime soon, following the tragic car crash he was involved in, where two of his friends/teammates lost their lives.

Well I really don't have much of a comment on his match, however do you think they script some of these kind of unusual matches? I'm asking because last time Andrew Tate had a match I noticed on X there were rumours that he place millions of dollars worth of bet on himself to lose which he did.

At this point, he probabaly uses retirement as an excuse to rest and then get back into the ring whenever he likes. We should understand that prolonged layoffs also tend to affect the physical fitness of an athlete though he may have a lot of fighting experience. I believe that we are facing a real threat in the form of the arrival of an opponent who has a high record of knock outs and his slightest slip up can end the career of a world champion.

I don’t think anyone is surprised that Fury is returning to the ring. We’ll see how good of a performance it is. For now it looks like a money grab while the getting is good. Jake Paul having a potentially career ending injury opened a hold for Netflix in the gimmick fighting space.

This is going to be an interesting fight, but i don't really know if fury is as formidable as he used to be, returning back after retirement might make him a little bit rusty even though it was a short retirement. I don't really know much about the other fighter but I'm sure that tyson fury would win. Tyson Fury's return from retirement doesn't surprise anyone. Many people predicted his return anyway. His retirement has become part of his training. Makhmudov is very dangerous he could finish the job with a single punch. It will be a risky fight for Fury, but he needs fights like this. Perhaps Tyson Fury will make a great comeback.

Tyson Fury is dangerous as well, don't mind that he lost to Usyk twice. That doesn't make him look less not to stand up to Makhmudov in a boxing fight. I'm not of high esteemed interest in the match but my concern is why's Tyson coming back to the ring or what'd even make such an Og that's supposed to had been retired to stay? Even after the steps made towards his retirement he still bounced back to fight. For what actually? For the entertainment sake or he's just out there to make money?
I've also considered those famous fighters who had also phrased their paths to be remarkable to also have integrity by pulling back at the due time so that they don't begin to call disrespects to themselves afterwards gaining lot of influential records like being an undisputable. The match is going to be entertaining as much as I can think.
They shall always prove their best so we'd see who's the champion among themselves by then.

Tysons first match after his unretirement is going to be epic because he is definitely going to give it all you he can to make sure that he defeats his opponent. Arslanbek has some good records as well but he cannot really match up to tysons level. I am also thinking of the possibility of matches like this being scripted. Especially in the case of Tyson Fury who had declared himself retired, coming back to fight again. I am thinking that matches like this are staged for the hypes, because this will fuel speculations and mixed feelings among lots of fans who would love to see their star come back. I am not knowledgeable about the retirement rules, it doesn't sit right with me that one can retire as many times and still come back like nothing happened. Is it all about passion or for the financial incentive attached?

I think he is winning this fight against Makhmudow.
This can be considered a warm up fight for him, but I dont know Tyson physical and mental condition to predict outcome and I never watched Makhmudow in the ring.
I checked the odds and Fury is a heavy favorite, but fight could go to the distance with unanimous decision win.

It's nothing new, he has done this a couple of times already. He shared his reasons on his Instagram, saying that he's coming back "for the love of the game and the sport". Well maybe it's true, but it's just one factor. I'm sure money is also still a huge part of the reason for this. As for the fight, I haven't really heard about Makhmudov before. I think it will mostly depend on Tyson's condition after a year long break.

Generally, when these athletes say they're going to retire, it might just be a marketing strategy; many do it, and when offered a good amount of money, they quickly return to the ring. They're both the same age and build, I believe it will be a good fight, especially if he continued training during his sabbatical…

It seems retiring and unretiring in boxing makes much more news and hype vs. if he was still an active boxer and just faced Arslanbek Makhmudov directly. A lot of money ruined boxing big time, which is why I am not much of a fan lately.

Obviously this match are scripted, the same way you are speechless that is how I’m speechless right now, it’s a very unusual match, because I don’t really understand why Tyson Fury is coming out of retirement all of a sudden, and I don’t think this are a matches we are going to call a challenge fight that Floyd Mayweather was fighting back then coming out of retirement it was always an epic challenge fight.

However I will be staying away from this fight because it’s obviously not going to make any sense, just like a Jake Paul fight, there is nothing nothing interesting with Tyson Fury in this match probably is just a promotion game or whatever there plan actually would be in this fight.
