Has interest in "meme" coins waned?

There are still some shitcoins out there, and some of them are memecoins and yes most of them are on SOL, but there are no more high volume ones, or big marketcap ones.

I am interested to know if you consider some of meme coins as successful. Afaik, the vast majority of those projects are pump and dump coins including the most famous one which is DogeCoin after proven to be manipulated by the famous public figure Elon Musk. Mr Musk succeeded to transform Doge into a valuable thing after announcing its support, but without real use cases which caused the price to decline significantly after a period of unprecedented ATH. I really wish to have more opinions from here and there to resume if I am really missing important things about those shitcoins.

It's interesting that while BTC returned above $70k, some meme coins also pumped. For example, Pepe pumped +22% today, and Doge pumped +15%. It looks good, but objectively, there is no reason for meme coins to pump, especially when the market is still in a bearish trend. So be careful if you decide to trade these tokens.

You could barely see people talks about these coin because they have made out profits from them, especially coin like dogecoin you would see that is no longer promoted like other coin in the market. Dodge coin is a coin that is most promoted by Elon musk because of his love for dogecoin and whenever he makes any tweets regarding the coin you would see more people rushing to that coin to invest and hold some portion of the coin.

AI is bein developed quite fast right now, and the tendency is that society becomes more dependent on it from now on in different niches, like movies, music, marketing and social interactions. Naturally, it will be something important in finances matters as well, so crypto developers must wish to take advantage of the subject by launching some worthless altcoins as well for speculative quick gains.

The trend of meme coin will never be over. Whenever you will see better market conditions, memecoins will be the first to run and give more returns. There was a time when the bitcoin pump, then the high marketcap and then low marketcap coins pumps and in the last the meme coins pump but in the current market, as soon as the bitcoin market pumps the meme coin market shows more strength than the high marketcap coins.

As an example we can see that Dogecoin pumped good in the last few days whereas most of the altcoins aren't showing that much good price action. However people may argue that they don't treat Dogecoin as a memecoin.

Buying a "meme" coin now, would mean "gambling" your investment with the hopes of getting lucky in the long run. Still, you can't go wrong with old "memes". Especially Dogecoin. I think it will be the one "meme" coin that will go to the moon, once the hype makes a comeback. Perhaps, it will go as far as $1 per DOGE. No one will ever know.

Hard to find the fact that meme coin had bad reputation to lots of traders. Many traders have great experience knows the real score about those meme coins will stay away dealing with it. That's why mostly we could see on the scene joining on those scams are usually the newbie one or don't have long years of experience on trading.

If they want to take the risk better buy Doge coin, but if they are really seeking for investment which is more reliable with those meme coins they know. Much better if they think about investing on the top alts.
