Yes, it is not like poker where you are directly getting the pot, but sportsbooks make money from the fact that you end up putting money in both sides and that is how they pay out, while it is not a must, it is usually averaging it out each other and that's how bookies make money, they are distributing the money they get from other sides to pay for the winner. Roulette is directly against the casino, and that is why it's harder to make money from that.

What kind of bet you go with roulette though? I mean single number? Red of Black or dozens number? The reason why I'm asking is that yes, I do agree with you that it could be profitable. But you really need to have a big discipline here when you are playing roulette.
