It depends on how much risk you're willing to take. Even without doing anything, Bitcoin's value is highly volatile. If someone says Bitcoin trading is safer, and then you risk all your money including what you should be spending daily, you're actually making it less safe.

I did always thought that this is a wrong logic to judge something. The bad use doesn't make the thing bad itself. Means that I can use dynamite explosives to bomb a whole city but this doesn't make dynamite explosives a bad thing in total because I still can use it in mining explosions.
Using bitcoin in good or bad way is just the same as using fiat money. Money can be used for daily expenses and can also be used to finance crimes and frauds.

Personally, I don't think any of these can be safer since both are highly risky and are more prone to losing than winning.

However, if you are an experienced person and a long term trader and gambler, I would say bitcoin trading is quite safer than gambling. Although bitcoin trading is still as risky as gambling, but if you have the skills and working strategies to make your trades successful, then there's no way that you will lose your trades at the end of the day.

You're right the only safer way infact, the best way is to buy and HODL for Long term because Bitcoin is too expensive and I can't afford to lose just a single stash it's just a personal decision I  don't know about other people but one thing for sure is that no matter the skills you apply in trading or gambling luck will be the one to make the final say, if luck says that you will not profit from trading or in gamble if you like apply all the strategy it will just be in vain that is why I can never consider trading or gambling as a safe place to throw my Bitcoin instead I will HODL it for long term where I will see my profit in double fold.

The funny thing is, if you do not acquire the knowledge of trading properly, you might just end up gambling in the name of trading. Yes. I believe there is a stage where trading can become gambling if you are doing it with inadequate knowledge about how the market works and the other indices that culminate to an advantageous trading. You need the right knowledge, the right skills and strategies to become a good trader. You even need to develop the right emotional intelligence to get there and also know what type of trading is best for your business before you enter. But without luck, you will not be able to make a profit from trading, no matter how solid your strategy and mindset are. That is why even experienced trader or even market analysts dare not make any guarantees or assertions with 100% certainty. Are you trying to compare Bitcoin trading and gambling here? If you compare Bitcoin trading and gambling, then I would say that Bitcoin trading is safer than gambling if you can trade by analyzing the market and understanding different strategies. Although trading and gambling are risky, trading can be made much easier by gaining experience and strategies on the trading platform, on the other hand, gambling depends entirely on luck, if you are lucky, you can win, and if you are not lucky, you can lose and lose everything.

You are right about one thing that gamblers knows their stake, and what is on the risk, but when the traders are putting their money in market, they are not aware, the reward according to their risk is somtimes very low, because they don't calculate that.

Traders must calculate the profit before taking the trade because without knowing the risk for the reward the end result will going to be disappointing and it will encourage you to take even more risky trades with the confidence of making profit, while the trade is just getting more risky and you know developed the mindset that you will also win this one with more risk, but that's how market take it back.
