I bought APE at $17 core and the current price is $0.08947 so it makes no sense to sell it even knowing the huge loss. However, most altcoins are the risky long term investments. Although DCA is considered the safest strategy, it works the opposite for altcoins. There are many altcoins in the market that once they fall, they never return to their previous price. In altcoins, a 90–99% drop means permanent loss, i.e. their price does not recover.
Such a loss from one of the overhyped token in the history of cryptocurrency.  Sorry for your loss and I want to believe that you learnt some lessons from that experience. If you bought with what you can afford to lose, it will not pain you much, it is usually a problem when you invested what you cannot afford to lose. Finally, I hope you are able to understand that beside Bitcoin, the rest are shitcoins irrespective of how much hype that follows the project.

Altcoin is for trading not for investment, we must realize that, losses from the price of $ 17 dollars will certainly be very difficult to recover because $APE needs to have an increase of thousands of percent more like it is from the current price but yes there are no enthusiasts now, it can even be said to be dead even though sometimes a little touch of increase when bullish but does not last long, it's useless it won't return capital.

DCA is only for bitcoin and specifically for long investments, altcoins can use the DCA strategy during bearish markets but must really choose altcoins that can really return to their ATH again every cycle which can be an opportunity to benefit.
