It has already been a long time since I have realized that sport betting cannot be anything but a hobby for the majority of bettors in this market, only a minority of bettors can be profitable in the long term and consistently. And it requires a lot of time before someone can reach such level, so it is better to not assume one can start on sport betting and start winning consistently.

It is a good hobby and it can turn in some extra money if one is lucky enough and there is some sound analysis involved, but nothing is guaranteed, as we all know.

I am waiting for the next football world cup before going full betting mode and see if I can score some money and fun with my limited budget.

I don't have the goal of becoming successful or profitable, and I just bet only when I feel like that is what keeping to stay no matter I am in profits or not. Seriously I have no idea the amount I lost and won from gambling, but I am a casual gambler and I bet once in a while when it comes to sports betting not on the daily basis.

I think gambling is mainly for entertainment, making money cannot be the main goal of gambling. The chances of losing money are relatively higher than winning money through gambling. I gamble with small amounts of money, I gamble with money that I can afford to lose, gambling is not about making money, I gamble mainly for entertainment, so even if I put all my winnings together, my losses will be much higher, I gamble despite knowing that. I manage my gambling by keeping myself in check so that I can control myself and enjoy the real fun of gambling without taking excessive risks.

Because I have a hobby in sports, that makes me not too concerned about losses as long as I place a bet. I enjoy this betting, and anyway, I bet small, so there is no need to think about the amount of loss in the long run. Some gamblers may focus on making money, and when they keep losing, it definitely makes them stressed. After all, the hope of every gambler is to win.

It is the last statement or line for me, betting on sports and gambling generally is more of a hobby to me than a business, infact, why should I even treat something with absolutely no form of guarantee for winning as a business? That's a bad attitude and an insult to those who are doing business and understand perfectly well what it is and means..

Gambling for me is just a hobby, some thing I engage my self in for fun and to also be able to join other gamblers, sports betting in discussions like this one right here, you know and will believe with me that it always feels kind of awkward when one engages in discussion of something he knows nothing about, he's or her opinion will always appear different and off topic most times, avoiding things like this is my major drivers in gambling and sports betting.

Experience really pay off in betting for me because I am not losing like before as I am losing just small amount of money now. Also experience is the reason I am not using high amount of money to bet or gamble anymore unlike before which makes the losses little.

I am not giving up on gambling not because of money but because of what I am benefitting from it. If I do not benefit from it, I will not gamble anymore but at least I can gamble to know more about what I can post on this forum and also earn more money. Also fun is another reason some people are gambling.

Good point, because if you’re aiming to make money and you’ve been losing for years, then honestly you’re probably doing something wrong. No business can survive like that, just increasing losses every year without fixing anything.

So it makes sense that some people just treat betting as a hobby. That way, they can justify the losses as payment for entertainment, like spending money on movies or games.

But for me, man, I’m still grinding. I’m still hoping that one day I’ll finally figure out what I’m missing. yes, I’m losing right now, I won’t deny that, but I’m not at the point where I can say that’s enough yet. So the journey continues.

I still have a lot of losses from both casino games and sports betting but I still enjoy them a lot. I don't consider gambling a source of income but sometimes it's not bad if I get a big reward from it. I always try to bet with the amount I can afford to lose. I enjoy whatever I win a lot and I don't have any regrets even if I lose. I try to keep a budget so that I can win or lose. I enjoy my gambling time regularly. If I had invested this money elsewhere it might have brought me profit but I would have been deprived of the joy of gambling.

I have accepted a long time ago that gambling is just for fun and nothing else. At the beginning of my gambling life, I thought I would make money from gambling. This made me put in more than I can afford. There was a time I used my entire week's earnings to gamble and lost unfortunately. Since then I have adopted both discipline and bankroll management in my gambling activities. Proper analysis and experience are good but in some cases, luck plays a cardinal role. I have seen many people lose not just money but relationship becomes they thought gambling was a means to financial stability.

Been years in sport betting, and it seems i've lost like 4 figs in total, but can't really remember the actual amount of it. However, i keep betting cus it's entertaining to me. So the total amount i lost didn't seem a lot since i used it for fun only. I don't have ambition to chase the lose. When i bet, and i lost. I moved on. Chasing the lost is only luring me to bet much more. So i can face the risk being addicted, then i can lost my mind to keep gambling responsibly.

The good thing by using gambling as entertaining purpose is that no disappointment, no complaint, and no stressful. Even when you lost it, world is still peacful cuz you're losing you can afford to lose it.

Gambling is unpredicted and gamblers needs to understand it because when you gamble as if it is a game that is certain you will end up losing so much but if  their is a good understanding of gambling knowing one can lose at anytime, one wont be relying on gambling profit and would always gamble with the amount that can be afford to lose and will also have gambling limits.  Loses will not be a thing of problem because one is just gambling with the amount that can be afford to lose.

I was betting for many years now, I was thinking that I might have started with friendly bets on my high school days. Then eventually play against someone in my officemates. I think still the same, bad decisions and no discipline and then looking for higher odds like multi-leg or parlay.

Most likely combinations of them all, you need to have a good bankroll and in order to do that you need discipline too and then your experience as you go in the long run.

Probably just a profit or bonus as a sideline and then you go to watch your favorite team or players.

You have to admit that money management is bigger than prediction skill. Even if you make 10 correct predictions if you don't have bankroll control you will lose in the end. Now I decide in advance how much I won't have a problem losing and use that amount. A silly way to die in gambling is to remember the total losses we have experienced, because we really can't take it all back. E sports gets the most bankroll, real games takes so much time and analytical challenges to solve. Moreover, sports games are best followed with a strong bankroll management, especially in virtual games, to lower the wagering speed and the amount of money spent in a session.
