Is Networking an Economic Advantage — and What About Introverts Later in Life?

If you get a good skill, you can thrive real well even though you are an introverted person. it can only get worse if you are claiming that you are an introvert and at the same time you lack the necessary skill.

Even with a good skill an introvert still needs to have a good marketing strategy and communication skill to thrive. Been introverted most times can deprive a fellow from opportunities simply because they don't network and their cycle is just limited to a few persons who might not have the time to help widen their network. In our modern world been introverted can cost anyone so much that they just sit and regret their choice of lifestyle. As for introverts who lack skills those ones are simply saying no to their existence because I wonder how they will survive with all the inflation hitting hard on our economy.

Middle age and starting from zero. Hmm

There's this assumption that if you have not built your network by a certain point, you're just behind. Permanently. Like some economic clock went out on you. And that's not true. But I understand why it is true in a way that is especially damaging when you look at when job markets get worse and the people around you appear to be more connected.

We all have years of pattern recognition, you have years of surviving situations, you know what you actually want. Which, younger networkers don't have yet and really can't buy.

Online communities do this in silence all the time. Pseudonymous people that have never gone to a single event and yet built real trust through consistent contribution. That's reputation, but not performance.
