I don’t even understand how all these politicians think, that bridge is way too important to be used for politics for crying out loud. Blocking or threatening it only hurts normal people and businesses on both sides.
For God sake, Canada already paid to get it done, so asking for half now just feels very unfair. It sounds tough, but it really just causes more problems than solutions. What is the matter with Donald Trump?

I very much doubt the effect is equal. On one side it hurts people and businesses. On the other side I doubt they care at all. If Canada wants to start siding with China over the United States, they’re going to find their quality of life falling faster than they could have ever imagined. Canada’s politicians have done way too much fucking around lately and are begging for the find out stage that is quickly approaching them.

It annoys me when political leaders and heads of states politicise everything. When they have little misunderstandings and disagreements, they take drastic decisions that affect the masses, the poor masses the most. Obvious truth is that the leaders who make these decisions do not get to feel the heat of the the decisions they make. Trump won't get to experience the traffic, lose his job or pay higher price for commodities or services. That is a politician for you.

More news has come out.  Trump made that truth social posts shortly after pedophile Lutnick's meeting with the Ambassador Bridge owner - Matthew Moroun.    The only person that stands to gain by any delay is Mr. Moroun.  Everyone else loses.

I would not be surprised if this was actually about Trump trying to physically block a bridge between Canada and the United States.

Anyways, with all the stuff happening on the Epstein files, I guess I makes sense to try to distract all attention by trying to block a bridge of whatever.

Canada may not be perfect, but they seem to be fairly stable from my point of view.

Our current government has weakened our position globally by a significant margin over the last year.
How do you still not see that?

We were the greatest superpower the world has seen in recorded history.
Now we have created a level of global instability that has the rest of the world finding ways to work around us.

We have exposed ourselves as selectively applying the "Rules Based Order" because we stopped cooperating with our long established allies.
