I don't know if my statement above means I like AI or it rather means AI is my nightmare.

Anyways, I love how AI has made the world easy going. It helps handle those boring and repetitive tasks, that is the area I love it most.

I also love brainstorming with AI. It don't normally see it as a help, whenever I am using it to brainstorm, I unconsciously set this competition between a human brain (mine) and a machine or code brain.

Meanwhile, in the forum as this is where I love to read things written by humans.
It will be scary waking to understand that you are discussing with bunches of AI models thinking they are humans.

AI has helped me track down some autographs from legends for sports memorabilia that I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. It has been a massive help.

That being said, it also gaslights the hell out of you. I worry about the people who think AI gives them nothing but the truth. If you give me 20 minutes with a chatbot, I can have it agreeing that the world is flat. People have to be smart enough to know what AI is and isn’t capable of or they will be embarrassingly misled.

It depends on your prompting, if you tell chatGPT(my fav btw) to tell you legit, original answers on any matter without being bias, it will, there are a lot of information categorized into different POVs, if you want it to go in any direction, it will, it is really fluid, so with the right prompting, it will give you the right answers.

If you say what are your thoughts on the use of AI, it's going to say it has none, but give you wide, different views on the topic, and some might be contradictory, but if you are specific, it will answer you based on that, if you prompt it to give you it's specific thoughts, then it will come up with a very neutral unbiased view based on research, proof, and logic.

I don't want to derail the AI Guidelines thread so I'm posting this here as its more relevant anyway.

You are happy with Theymos’s recent announcement and feel empowered and want to attack some of my past posts because you aspire to discredit me. The truth of the matter is AI will continue to rule whether you are aware of it or not. Resistance is futile.

So you have both the community and moderator advising you to stop using AI in your posts. Will you continue to do so?

Someone tried to give you a good piece of advice in your Physical Bitcoins thread, and you deleted it. The post is in reference to Mopar Mining and not DireWolfM14, but its still good advice:

I'm going to say this to try and help you out as I've supported you by supporting your brand.  Mopar being as asset and value to the community is well established.  There have been times he and I haven't seen eye to eye, which it should be expected that we don't agree on everything.  With that said, he has earned the respect and trust of the community, myself included.  However, you keeping with taking unsolicited shots at him comes off as cheap, petty, and having a vendetta, which in turn may diminish your standing in the community, and in turn may negatively impact your brand.  It's not about kissing ass but self-awareness, which in turn will reflect on your brand.

It should have been apparent that using Grok to not only do your research but also write for you could come with problems. People pointed these problems to you and you just ignored them. This explains why you're at where you are now: the failure to learn anything or perform any sort of self-introspection. I know you're going to just perceive these words as an attack, and its a shame, because they're really not.

The final thing I have to say is nobody cares if you use AI for every other facet of your life. What everyone is trying to tell you is just don't use AI to post on the forum. Its as simple as that. You can continue arguing with everybody and the forum admin about it, or you can just accept that we don't like it and we don't want it.

This is arrogantly false. Read the disclaimer and rules of engagement regarding the post you are referring to and stop spreading false narratives. You would be much more abled and better at assessing, understanding and responding to topics if you actually cared to READ & review them fully.

According to my poll the “community” thinks of AI more as a friend vs an enemy. At the very least the community is pretty fairly equally divided on the matter. I’d argue that a poll is a much more fair assessment of the situation and what the community advocates for vs the ladder.

There are only two people which I have said should be removed from DT1.

I have no issues with other DT1’s behaviors other than the fact they enable and support the two I’ve listed above through complicity, excuses or silence.

That being said, many of you live in an echo chamber. It’s really some weird type of popularity contest occurring. I happen to disagree with only 1 or 2 things but the circle has little tolerance towards those who oppose them. I’ve proven the hypocrisy, the bias and arrogance yet it’s ignored to protect the status quo.

First off, it’s not really conflating. If it is conflating, it’s very little. Considering the exact question being asked is “Is AI a friend or foe in our lives and COMMUNITY?

You really act as if I use AI in every post and don’t write anything. Most of the time when I have used AI I have used it to fix my grammar, punctuation, or spelling. On a handful of occasions I have had it polish some text of mine. AI has not changed my core message. I edit my texts even further afterwards. I have used it to help better deliver my stance, messages and beliefs, refraining from relying upon it 100%. I don’t allow AI to change the meaning or too many of my own words. Here is the kicker, it actually is a nice way to beautify a topic/post. My raffles/free giveaways and informational topics have all been created, written and edited by me. Although AI has certainly made them easier and faster to “create” or “re-create” as well as more presentable. It hardly matters what you think because I am the human component which makes the text and the message human. AI detection analyzers conflate positive and negative results. I am not using Grox or AI to create an argument and then simply copying and pasting as a response like you wish to believe. Put together everything I have written, I would say less than 10% could be contributed to AI.

Please start READING the disclaimers I have in informational topics with AI more utilized. The disclaimers covers all the things you like to cry about. If you cared to read and acknowledge the disclaimer you wouldn’t have expressed issue surrounding the post. You would likely be like oh, seems legit. Instead you read books by their cover and fail to understand that the way I have used AI has been fine. Regardless of a couple people’s OPINION. Mind you I am against the use of AI 100% and don’t support spam or misinformation. At the very least we can agree likely upon that. (If you want to claim that my post was misleading or misinformation just read the disclaimer it was there since the beginning. Making that claim is simply unwarranted and contributed by ignorance.)

AI will be implemented in every aspect of your life more and more from this point forward whether you are aware of it or not. My advice is get used to it. Perhaps use it to the forums advantage. This forum will likely become AI more than human one day regardless if you are aware of it or not and if it doesn’t it will just be left in the Stone Age as an echo chamber. I’ve met the most interesting, talented and intelligent people here but they are truly no match to the processing speed of AI. Everyone here put together doesn’t have the time, energy or brains to keep up with AI’s capabilities. Fighting it is like fighting Bitcoin, it will just strengthen.
